We really missed Jennifer Lawrence at the Oscars, so the timing of her gorgeous new Dior ads could not have been more perfect. The best part? There’s also a behind-the-scenes video of Lawrence on set!
As everyone from Beyoncé to Blake Lively can tell you, navigating red-carpeted stairs (whether it’s at the Met Gala or Cannes) can be a risky proposition. And Helen Mirren, 69, found that out the hard way at the Berlin Film Festival premiere of The Woman in Gold, where the combination of her green Dolce & Gabbana gown and her favored “stripper shoes” combined to trip her up on her ascent to the event.

Jennifer Lawrence saw your shark Rihanna, and just raised you a boa constrictor. The Oscar-winning actress poses with a very large, very dangerous snake wrapped around her body for Vanity Fair, and of course she’s not wearing a stitch of clothing. (We always knew J. Law had some serious … guts.)
Charlize Theron, Jennifer Lawrence, Emma Watson and practically every other It girl has been photographed wearing these crazy-chic studs. So naturally, we couldn’t wait to get our hands on a pair. But since we’re not all on a JLaw-size budget, we tracked down the luxe, double-pearl earring look for way, way less.
These BE-JE earrings are definitely the must-have jewelry trend of the season. Each set features a smaller pearl stud that clips into larger metallic pearl stud, and you can mix and match how you want to wear them. You can also use a regular earring back and wear the pearl stud on its own, or if you really want to change things up, you can pair the pearl backs with different studs from your jewelry box. Basically, you’re getting three pairs of earrings for the price of one.
If you’re a first-time Joyus.com shopper, you get 10% off orders over $50 (the earrings are $58) plus free shipping by entering PEOPLE10 at checkout.
There’s the look the celebs wear and there’s the look for less, but this is a different kind of look: the real-deal look the celebs love for less. PEOPLE editors worked with star-worn jewelry brand Ettika (you’ve seen it on the wrists of Jennifer Lawrence and Kendall and Kylie Jenner, among others) to get the typically not-so-budget-conscious prices down a few of their most-adored chic friendship bracelets. Like, way down. (Psst, you can get the price down even more if you use our exclusive discount code–details below.)
These designs remind us of the friendship bracelets that we used to make and trade at summer camp … only these are much cooler and a lot more wearable. They feature metal chainlinks, leather ribbons and rhinestones. We picked out our three favorite color ways: gold with gold leather strips, silver with silver and gray leather strips and gold with gold leather strips.
If you’ve never shopped at Joyus.com before, you can nab an extra 10% off orders over $50, plus free shipping, (enter PEOPLE10 at checkout), bringing the price down to under 40 bucks. Which–not to sound like a broken record–is a whole lot less than the bracelets typically go for.
“I hated dressing up for my first red carpets, because I never felt comfortable in these glamorous dresses,” she shares.
And growing up in Kentucky riding horses didn’t exactly lend itself to encyclopedic knowledge of high fashion. “In Louisville, when I was a child, I inherited clothes from my two older brothers [Ben and Blaine] that I put together with things that my mother dug out of yard sales,” she says. “I was a true tomboy.”
Three celebs made the call that to kick off the whirlwind tour for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 they needed different outfits for the world premiere in London and the party afterwards. Who can blame them? Vote below on which look you prefer.
