Jennifer Aniston’s New Signature Scent Now Available to Buy!

It’s been a long time coming, but Jennifer Aniston‘s first signature scent is finally making its American debut. “I wanted this fragrance to be a personal library of scent memories,” Aniston says in a release for the eponymous juice, which was originally called Lolavie. “For example, my love of night blooming jasmine has lasted a lifetime. Growing up in California, I distinctly remember the scent of the Jasmine on summer evenings.” The fragrance also takes inspiration from the sea, which is evident in the campaign shot for the scent (below). “I consider the scent of the ocean to be one of life’s most uplifting sensual experiences,” she comments. “The combination of the salty air and tropical oils reminds me of long sunny days on the beach–pure happiness.” Jennifer Aniston goes on sale today, exclusively at Sephora.com, with prices starting at $39 for a 1-oz. bottle. It will begin rolling into Sephora stores nationwide at the end of March. Tell us: Are you excited to give Jennifer Aniston’s scent a try?–Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Jennifer Aniston: The Rachel Was “the Ugliest Haircut I’ve Ever Seen”

TK
Everett

Though it may have spawned a million knock-offs, there is one person who wasn’t in love with the flippy ’90s hairdo affectionately known as “The Rachel”: Jennifer Aniston! “Let’s say there have been moments I’d rather not relive, like that whole Rachel thing,” she laughs in the February issue of Allure of the cut inspired by her character on the TV show Friends. “How do I say this? I think it was the ugliest haircut I’ve ever seen. What I really want to know is, how did that thing have legs?” And though she laments some beauty faux pas of her past, the versatile actress still embraces on-screen change, especially in her newest film. “I didn’t wear mascara in Just Go With It,” she admits. “It’s fun to transform a little bit–what did I have to lose?” Check out equally transformative pics of Aniston from her Allure cover shoot, rocking bangs and baring her toned tummy in unbuttoned silk pajamas allure.com.  And for the full interview, pick up the February issue of the magazine, on stands nationwide Jan. 25. –Justine Harman

Nicole Kidman Trades Style Tips with Jennifer Aniston

Nicole Kidman Jennifer AnistonAlexi Lubomirski for Harper’s Bazaar

As Harper Bazaar‘s February cover girl, Nicole Kidman sat down with fellow Hollywood heavyweight Jennifer Aniston – her costar in the new comedy, Just Go with It – to dish on her style philosophy. “I like boy-girl looks. I have no sense of what’s fashionable; I just know what I like to wear,” she tells Aniston. “I don’t like kind of changing with the wind; I like sticking to my own self.” By that, she means staying loyal to designers like L’Wren Scott and avoiding being fussed over with couture confections: “Yeah, Renee Zellweger said she’s just not that interested in having loads of designers make clothes for her; it feels gluttonous. That is so right. It’s not the place to be, particularly in your 40s.” But has the Nashville-transplant really embraced her new hometown style? “I don’t wear cowboy hats,” Kidman admits. “I think they’re cute. I sometimes put one on with a bikini, but it’s a particular look. I like a cowboy hat on [2-year-old daughter] Sunday Rose.” To read more of their interview, go online or pick up your own copy of Harper’s Bazaar available on newsstands Jan. 18. – Hana Choi

Jennifer Aniston’s Fashion Inspirations? Cameron and Cate!

Face to face/iPhoto; Jason Merritt/Getty; Pascal Le Segretain/Getty

Jennifer Aniston‘s dedication to designer frocks and sleek looks has earned her more than her fair share of fashion fans, making her one of Hollywood’s hottest style icons. And while she consistently holds her own on the red carpet—most recently shining in a color-blocked Lanvin mini at the L.A. premiere of The Switch—the actress admits to pulling inspiration from other A-listers. “I love seeing Cameron Diaz on the red carpet,” she tells Extra. “I think she’s gorgeous and has a lot of style.” Another source of inspiration for Jen? Cate Blanchett, who Aniston lauds as “always interesting and unique.” And while Jennifer’s fashionable peers might have distinctly different approaches to style, when you put them together, Blanchett’s structured styling and Diaz’s surfer-girl sensibility somehow reflect Aniston’s own laid-back sophistication. But could this fashion equation be the recipe for a collection of her own? Aniston’s sly response: “Maybe.” To hear more, check out extratv.com. –Justine Harman

London Calling: Jennifer Aniston Hits Harrods to Launch Her New Scent

Richard Young/Startraks

Jennifer Aniston seems to be playing the part of perfumer like a seasoned pro, stepping out in London earlier today to launch her first-ever fragrance. The stunning star–in a chic strapless dress from Valentino and matching sky-high heels–hit famed British department store Harrods right around lunchtime to introduce the scent to the hundreds of UK fans who had gathered. Meeting, greeting and signing countless bottles of perfume, the actress smiled throughout the promotional appearance, where refreshed campaign images appeared to reveal a new name for the scent. Now called, quite simply, Jennifer Aniston, despite months of marketing the new scent as Lolavie, the namesake decison seems fitting, giving the star’s low-key approach to style and her previous description of the fragrance as “a nonperfume perfume.” British fans who bought the scent not were not only treated to the actress’s autograph, but also the clear streamlined bottle that the juice is packaged in. And while Jennifer Aniston is priced around $47 for a 50-ml. bottle in England, it looks like Americans will have to wait to get their fragrance fix from the A-lister: U.S. distribution has yet to be finalized. –Gillian Koenig

Confirmed: Jennifer Aniston to Launch Signature Fragrance Lolavie!

Fernando Allende/Broadimage

Brace yourselves, Jennifer Aniston fans–following months of buzz, the actress has announced that she will indeed be launching her first ever fragrance. “It’s been a year-and-a-half journey,” Aniston told WWD. “I’d been asked to do things before, and it never felt organic. But when Leon [Falic, president of the Falic Fashion Group] approached me to be involved with the process from inception to fruition, I thought, ‘This could be a creative expression.’” Aniston describes the end product, named Lolavie, as “a nonperfume perfume.” And while specific fragrance notes have yet to be released, one thing is certain, it will be a lighter take than her childhood introduction to scent. “The first perfumes I ever wore were Miss Dior and Anais Anais,” she says. “My mother wore Calèche and my grandmother used a body splash that came in a big yellow jug that she kept by the bathtub. Those were very strong scents. Now I am not a big perfume-y fragrance fan.” So what does she want her scent evoke? “I want people to go, ‘What is that? You smell great!’ But most of all I wanted it to smell natural,” she says. American fans will have to pull out their passports to get a first sniff of Lolavie, which will launch in the U.K. at Harrods in June starting at around $47 for a 50-ml. bottle, or wait for the as yet undetermined U.S. distribution that will follow.
