If we had Jennifer Aniston‘s world-famous hair, you couldn’t pay us to cover it up. But the actress doesn’t mind hiding that gorgeous mane. In fact, she actually likes to do just that when she’s shooting a movie.

“I have to say it’s so nice to wear a wig, it’s like putting a hat on,” Aniston tells PEOPLE. “Your hair time in the morning is so easy.”

The actress dons a short blonde hairpiece in her upcoming film Meet the Millers, but it’s not the first time she’s changed her mane for a role. “I got a kind of bug for [wearing wigs] when I did Horrible Bosses, because it was like 10 minutes in the hair chair.”

Slashing her styling time isn’t the only benefit of faking it. “You really save your hair if you’re not putting all that heat on it and brushing it to death,” the Living Proof spokeswoman explains. “It’s nice to watch your hair grow for two months.”

Jennifer Aniston wants you to have good skin.

The actress announced today that she’s the new face and body of Aveeno skincare products, a brand she loves.

“I’m very particular about what I put on my face and body, and have been using Aveeno for years,” Aniston tells PEOPLE exclusively. “So this partnership is a natural fit for me.”

Expect to see the star in ad campaigns later in the year — and hear her reveal some coveted beauty tips, too.

“Jennifer’s holistic approach to life and her natural beauty are such a perfect match for Aveeno,” the brand says in a statement. “We are pleased to welcome Jennifer to the Aveeno family.”

Aniston, who until now had limited her endorsements, became the spokeswoman and co-owner of Living Proof hair products late last year.

Jennifer Aniston has the hair every woman loves, but whose hair does she covet?

“We look at Gisele, the Victoria’s Secret models — I always love their hair,” her longtime stylist, Chris McMillan, tells PEOPLE exclusively. “When we talk about a style we want to create together, we can do it in 10 words or less. She’ll say something like, ‘Burberry with tuxedo jacket,’ and I’ll be like, ‘Parted down the middle in 2009.’”

That crazy level of connection was what inspired McMillan to come aboard this week as the new celebrity stylist for Living Proof, the haircare company Aniston now represents and co-owns. “Jennifer and I have been very loyal to each other,” he explains. “It just makes sense — why wouldn’t I stick with her? She trusts the people who work with her.”
