In a fitting tribute to London Fashion Week’s 25th anniversary, Christopher Bailey brought a touch of Hollywood glamour to the capital with his latest collection for Burberry Prorsum. On the star-studded front row, Gwyneth Paltrow took her spot next to Burberry campaign model, Emma Watson but not before rushing over to greet the famous editor-turned-movie star, Anna Wintour. “That’s so weird because I literally just saw your movie last night — I loved it!,” gushed Paltrow. Victoria Beckham, Liv Tyler, Mary-Kate Olsen, Frieda Pinto and the brand’s face Emma Watson were also seated front row at the show, where the theme was ‘traditional Burberry with a twist’ (think trench coats encrusted with silver rocks and ruched mini-dresses in pale pastel hues). “I thought it was brilliant,” Posh told PEOPLE backstage adding, “I loved the colors a lot and the accessories were great.” Frieda Pinto couldn’t have agreed more, herself in a pale yellow dress straight off the runway, she gushed to PEOPLE, “There were so many colours out there I would wear, it was hard to choose!” As Christopher Bailey was greeted by his famous friends, he told PEOPLE how honored he was to have their support. “We had people flying over just for tonight, it was unbelievable and really emotional actually.” At the after party, Liv headed for the stage to see The Kooks perform live, saying “Everything was just beautiful, and so I’m happy to be back in London. She may know how to wow us with a show-stopping premiere-style wardrobe of sky-high heels and body-skimming minidresses, but off the red carpet, Gwyneth Paltrow favors a more laidback approach. That might be why for her first foray into fashion design, the actress is collaborating with Parisian jersey label, ZOEtee’s for the capsule collection appropriately called ZOEtee’s LOVES Gwyneth Paltrow, which we first told you in March. And your wait is almost over to buy from the seven-piece line of easy-to-wear basics, which will launch exclusively at matchesfashion.com on Monday, August 24th. The collection features elegant, monochromatic day-to-evening jersey dresses, mesh studded vests, slouchy jumpsuits, cotton leggings and easy to wear blazers that mix masculine fabrics with a ’70s glam-rock feel in fabrics such as recycled cottons and cashmere blends with prices starting around $165. Although she doesn’t have a lot of design experience behind her, the actress was a natural fit for the label. “Gwyneth knows how to mix basics and give jersey an edge,” says Laure Pariente, Creative Director of ZOEtee’s. Move over, O magazine and Martha Stewart Living. GOOP, Gwyneth Paltrow’s weekly newsletter packed with clean and green advice on loving, living and cooking is a “big success,” according to Paltrow.  “It’s crazy.  . . . crazy!” Paltrow chatted exclusively with PEOPLE about the site at the Children of the City‘s Champions of Hope Benefit Gala at the Tribeca Rooftop last night in N.Y.C.  “I just love it. Corporate America is knocking at my door. . . . ‘Will you hawk my product’?” The answer is clearly no for the star’s very personal project, which even derives its name from her initials G.P. “It started in such an organic way.  People ask me, ‘What is it?  What are you doing?’ And I don’t know.  I did it, am doing it  . . . and I love doing it. It is really just a place to disseminate good information,” said the Preen-clad Paltrow. “People are so grateful that it’s free.  It’s just nice to share what you have.  And I have all this great information. It’s just a gift.  People want me to do all this other stuff. But right now, I just really love doing the site.  I love thinking about the letters, what I’m going to write about, what kind of information we can put in there.”

So will Paltrow follow in Paul Newman’s footsteps with his Newman’s Own empire, which raised $250 million dollars in his lifetime for charity? “We’ll do something and give it all back,” she tells PEOPLE exclusively.  But for now, the site, which she creates along with two hands-on staffers, has only two cardinal rules. “No bribes.  Also, I won’t say anything negative.  If I eat somewhere or stay somewhere and it’s horrible, I won’t talk about it,” she said. While she has addressed everything from cleansing to frenemies on the site, she’s not about to take on rumors about her personal life on GOOP. “I never address that side of me there,” she insisted. “It is really a place to disseminate good information.” And it’s not the only way that Paltrow is doing good — she is also a board member of Robin Hood, an organization in part founded by the late John F. Kennedy Jr., which raises money from successful New Yorkers and donates to causes such as Children of the City, the beneficiary of last night’s gala .  “They’re really changing lives for kids in New York City at the poverty level or below. She may be about to launch her first clothing line, but Gwyneth Paltrow has another fashion project in the works — and it’s all for a good cause. The actress has designed a limited-edition bikini for Palm-Beach-preppy retailer Lilly Pulitzer’s A Colorful Cause: Celebrity Designer Program, which honors the label’s 50th anniversary by supporting The Epidermolysis Bullosa Medical Research Foundation. And Gwyneth’s not alone in lending her design talents to the cause. Eight other stars, including Brooke Shields, Debra Messing, Marcia Cross, Angie Harmon, Bridget Moynahan, Catherine Bell, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Garcelle Beauvais-Nilson, have also signed on to create limited-edition mommy-and-me looks — for both daughters and sons — in iconic Lilly Pulitzer prints. Anne Hathaway may have already made an appearance at the N.Y.C. premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor, but last night she got a second look, joining stars like Gwyneth Paltrow, Joan Collins, Rachel Zoe and Nicky Hilton at the documentary’s West Coast premiere in L.A. For the man of honor, the question of letting filmmakers document his life was a tough but ultimately satisfying choice. “Of course it was difficult,” he told PEOPLE.com. “But finally it is so beautiful and so good that now I accept it and it is okay.” Hathaway, who entered the screening theatre through a side entrance hand-in-hand with boyfriend Adam Shulman, said that she wishes that the recently retired designer would step back into the world of fashion. “I’m going to beg him to come back,” she told PEOPLE.com. “I actually begged him to make me an Oscar dress, but that didn’t happen and I got to wear the most gorgeous Armani — but I think now that he has retired we all appreciate him that much more.” And the rest of the Hollywood seemed to agree, as the audience stood when the design legend entered the theatre, and then again at the end of the film.

Style maven Gwyneth Paltrow is about to be the next star to turn designer. French label ZOEtee’s confirms to PEOPLE.com that the actress is designing a capsule collection with them — and she’s already showing it off! Stepping out in London last week, the star wore a heather gray jersey dress from her debut ZOEtee’s LOVES Gwyneth line. The collection, which will consist of seven easy-dressing silhouettes ranging from casual basics to draped evening dresses, will capture the star’s laid-back daytime style, as well as her always-elegant red carpet looks. Taking inspiration from ’70s glam and rock ‘n’ roll, the line will play with form, pairing over-sized shapes with tight-fitting styles and asymmetrical cuts. And style icon Gwyneth made sure she was involved in every stage of the development process, from fit to detailing to fabrics and packaging. Expect to see mesh detailed tops, draped evening dresses, vintage look sweatshirts, jumpsuits and recycled cotton legging basics. ZOEtee’s Loves Gwyneth will hit stores in both Europe and the U.S. in mid-August, with proceeds from every piece being donated to the charity Kids Company. Stay tuned for more information. Designer Valentino might have earned fame for dressing Hollywood’s leading ladies, but with last night’s premiere of Valentino: The Last Emperor, the Italian designer became a film star in his own right. It was an appropriately star-studded occasion, with Gwyneth Paltrow, Claire Danes and Anne Hathaway among the elite crowd that turned out to the Gilt Groupe- and Quintessentially-sponsored premiere at MoMA. And the gorgeous crowd wasn’t lost on the designer. “Gwyneth looks fantastic tonight,” Valentino remarked to PEOPLE, “Anne sensational. Claire Danes . . . they’re all friends of mine.” But just because they dazzled in Valentino’s elegant gowns, didn’t mean that stars weren’t also keeping more prosaic issues in mind. Of her Grecian-inspired white gown, Anne Hathaway explained, “I’ve been enjoying a couple of post-Oscar burgers. So I didn’t fit into a lot of the vintage stuff. I wanted to wear something that was a little bit more forgiving.” For glam mom-to-two Paltrow, “It was hectic getting ready. We just flew in yesterday for this. And my kids are really jetlagged. And my son had a meltdown. But we got out the door,” although not without a struggle. “He was very upset by these hair clips they put in to keep your hair back when you’re getting your makeup done,” she explained. “He hated them. He was livid. But I’m here. I made it.” So did Moses have an opinion about the dress? “He did not like it,” said Paltrow. “He’s very specific. My daughter really liked it. She also chose my nail polish color.” Pink, of course! After giving us her personal holiday recipes, Gwyneth Paltrow shares her post-holiday diet secret in her latest GOOP newsletter. Gwyneth admits, “I need to lose a few pounds of holiday excess. Anyone else? I like to do fasts and detoxes a couple of times during the year, the most hardcore one being the Master Cleanse I did last spring. It was not what you would characterize as pretty. Or easy.” Working with her doctor, a detox diet specialist, Gwyneth has created a seven-day elimantion diet that helps detox the body. “As I do not wish to subsist on lemon water in the middle of winter, I asked my doctor, a detox diet specialist, for the guidelines he uses to achieve a good detox that is not as hallucinogenic (in a bad way) as the Master Cleanse,” says Gwyneth. “What it came down to was this: you can detox easily and effectively while you continue to eat as long as you are cutting out the foods and other substances that interfere with the detoxification process.” While cutting out dairy, grains with gluten, meat, shellfish, anything processed (including all soy products), fatty nuts, nightshades (potatoes, tomatoes, peppers and eggplant), condiments, sugar and obviously no alcohol, caffeine or soda, Gwyneth’s diet consist of salads, fruit smoothies, chicken, soups and lots of water. We’ve already heard what Gwyneth Paltrow will be giving as gifts this holiday season, and in this week’s installment of GOOP, the star is sharing her holiday recipes. She expains, “I generally always make the same meal for Christmas as I do for Thanksgiving with a few exceptions, the Mulled Wine being the most exciting addition. I cringe when I add cupfuls of sugar to sweeten things, so instead I add agave syrup to this lovely spiced drink and it works beautifully.” But she went the extra mile and created Hanukkah and Christmas menus for her readers. “For Hanukkah I love a Whole Roasted Fish with Salsa Verde and with the addition of the Latkes, you get that wonderful crisp potato thing on the side; it’s very satisfying.” And don’t forget the sweets! “The Christmas morning breakfast/brunch is easy to prepare and has great seasonal and holiday flavors. The Spiced Pumpkin & Walnut Bread has become one of my favorites, I could eat the whole loaf.” Paltrow has even made some of our favorites a little bit better for us. “The biscuits are a healthier version of the good ole’ southern version but are just as tasty. If you’ve ever looked at Gwyneth Paltrow, and wondered how she’s always so perfectly put together, you’re in luck. In her latest GOOP newsletter, the star muses about being a fashion-conscious mom of two — and lets readers in on her style secrets. “I used to spend a lot of time looking at fashion, reading about fashion, generally being bemused by fashion,” she says. “Then one day I had children and it all kind of went out the window. For a few years I was basically in sweatpants and I didn’t mind it.” As much as she values comfort, “It’s a fine line,” she points out, “between being comfortable and being demoralized by being frumpy all the time.” The star developed her signature chic and easy look based on the idea of having a personal style uniform. The key? Stick with basics like black leggings, a gray tank, a blazer, heeled booties, a simple skirt and jeans, and build on them. You might start your day in “black leggings, [a] gray tank, and house slippers,” she says. What could be more chic than a glamorous lunch at the Seinfelds’ estate in Long Island? Toss in stars, charity and shopping for coveted purses, and the answer is not much! Jessica Seinfeld, wife of Jerry, hosted the chic luncheon under a cream-colored canvas tent on their sprawling lawn with Derek Lam, the Creative Director at Tod’s, the luxury accessories and clothing company. High-wattage guests — including Gwyneth Paltrow, Diane Kruger, Kelly Ripa and Alexandra Wentworth — dined on grilled shrimp and Maine lobster salad — then shopped in the Seinfelds’ 200-year-old barn for boots, coats and bags from the Tod’s fall collection, with a portion of the proceeds from the guests’ purchases going to Baby Buggy, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing New York City’s families in need with essential equipment, clothing, and products for their infants and young children. Kruger and Paltrow bought black cashmere trench coats, while Ripa put in an order for a “Pashmy” baby bag (which new mommies Nicole Kidman, Jennifer Lopez and Jessica Alba also want for their little ones). Paltrow says she is more than happy to give Baby Buggy all the baby items her children outgrow. “We give Baby Buggy all our stuff,” she told PEOPLE, “Strollers, car seats, clothes, toys.” So some unsuspecting tot is riding around in Gwyneth Paltrow’s carseat? “Well,” she laughed. “Not my carseat. Apple’s carseat!”

Following in the foot steps of past stars like Hilary Swank, Charlize Theron, Renee Zellweger and Glenn Close, Gwyneth Paltrow has been named the Entertainment Industry Foundation’s (EIF) ambassador for Saks Fifth Avenue’s 2008 KEY TO THE CURE campaign, a women’s cancer initiative founded in partnership with EIF’s Women’s Cancer Research Fund. The limited edition T-Shirt modeled by Gwyneth was created by legendary designer Karl Lagerfeld and features a cross bow and arrow on the front and a sketch of Karl himself on the back. Gwyneth will appear in all KEY TO THE CURE ads and a public service announcement wearing the T-shirt. Karl’s limited edition work will hit Saks Fifth Avenue stores and their website on October 1 and retail for $40 with over $35 to exclusively benefit KEY TO THE CURE.
