The fashion spotlight may have focused on the ladies at the Academy Awards, but that doesn’t mean that Sandra Bullock, Penelope Cruz and Kristen Stewart were the night’s only scene-stealers. Hollywood’s leading men got suited up and ready to sizzle. But the question remains, which Hollywood hunk would you have wanted to stand beside as your Oscars date? Going the manly route, Best Actor nominee George Clooney balanced his elegant Giorgio Armani with longer hair and a little masculine scruff. Twilight‘s famously bare-chested star Taylor Lautner kept covered in a perfectly fitted Dolce & Gabbana tuxedo (and we didn’t hear anyone complaining). And Jake Gyllenhaal supported his Best-Actress-nominated sister Maggie in a custom-tailored Burberry tuxedo. So many hot guys, this is a tough decision!Tell us: Which Hollywood guy do you think rocked the Oscars?

Hollywood Sounds Off On Pitt and Clooney’s Controversial Facial Hair

It seems like everyone has something to say about the facial hair that has taken over the faces of two of PEOPLE’s Sexiest Men Alive. Brad Pitt’s beard has been growing through the winter, while his pal George Clooney kicked off award season with the new look. Eli Roth, who appears with Pitt in Inglourious Basterds, thinks his co-star’s beard is amazing. “That’s like a professional beard,” said Roth at the Critics’ Choice Awards in Hollywood Friday night. “Only Brad can pull off a beard like that.” Meanwhile, Melanie Lynskey, who appears with Clooney in Up In The Air, says she hadn’t seen his new beard but wanted to check it out. “He’s not going to look bad,” she tells PEOPLE. “He could bleach his hair blonde and he wouldn’t look bad!” Another guy whose looks can’t be diminished by facial hair is Jon Hamm, according to Mad Men creator Matt Weiner. “He can get rid of it and grow it again in an afternoon,” Weiner joked about Hamm, who plays the dapper Don Draper. “I told him that he looks like GI Joe, which is quite a compliment. There’s nothing you can do to make that guy look bad, let me tell you.” Vote now on which leading man wears his facial hair best! – Elaine Aradillas
