Exclusive: Felicity Jones Stuns in New Dolce & Gabbana Beauty Ad

Felicity Jones is giving into her animal instincts for her latest role.

The actress returns as the face of Dolce & Gabbana and this time for the brand’s new Animalier Signature Collection campaign, promoting a line of makeup inspired by the fashion label’s favorite print.

In the photo, Jones works a leopard corset dress teamed with a pendant, deep red lips and a messy updo.

Felicity Jones: Applying Makeup Is ‘Cathartic’

In between her multiple movies — including her breakout, Like Crazy, and her newest project, HysteriaFelicity Jones found the time to be the face of both Burberry and Dolce & Gabbana The Makeup.

“I don’t stay away from many fashion or beauty experiments,” Jones tells Style.com. “I’ve been wearing lipstick more since it’s become more popular again … I alter my look according to what I’m wearing. I like the process of applying makeup — it’s cathartic”

The starlet’s two beauty essentials include black khol eyeliner and rosebud blusher — both by Dolce & Gabbana. “If ever I need a quick fix these are the products I turn to,” she says. “I love a little definition on the eyes and a sweeping of pink on my cheeks. It makes me feel refreshed and a little more together when I don’t want to wear a full face of makeup.”

There are times that call for full makeup, though; in Jones’s case, for work. “As an actress, makeup can change your face [and] help you to create characters,” she says. “That’s when you realize how exciting it can be, how something as simple as combing your brows in a different way can change you. I’ve always liked the idea of the face and body as a blank canvas.”

Though we’re still scratching our heads over the definition, ‘aristocratic sauvage girl,’ we think Felicity Jones’s newly revealed Dolce & Gabbana beauty ads certainly make an impact.

In the color-rich ads for the brand’s Khol collection ($20-$59), the up-and-comer looks every inch the Hollywood vet, sporting a perfectly smoky eye and deeply saturated gloss.

Check out a behind-the-scenes clip (below), in which the Like Crazy star says the ad marks her first time wearing a full-blown red lip. “[It's] a new direction for me,” she admits. “But with Pat McGrath’s incredible artistry, I’ve tried something slightly different.”
