The designer Elie Saab is on a roll and can’t be stopped! Not only did he create the gown you all voted this week’s Most Loved Look (worn by Elizabeth Olsen), but he also designed the dazzling red number worn by last week’s winner, Emmy Rossum.

The Godzilla actress showed up to the sci-fi movie’s London premiere wearing a piece from the designer’s Fall 2013 collection. She pairs her crystal-embellished cascading gown with coordinating navy sandals and silver drop earrings. Since her dress was plenty traffic-stopping on its own, her beauty look was a simple smokey eye with a sleek center part.

Saab was also killing it across the pond at the Cannes film festival. Actress Paz Vega wore a floral and pearl-embellished midi from the Spring 2014 collection, while Jane Fonda wore a red Elie Saab Couture gown that seems strikingly similar to the one Angelina Jolie wore to the 2014 Oscars (Uh-oh — look’s like it’s time to add another slide to our Fashion Faceoff gallery!)

Elizabeth Olsen Goes Brunette

Now Elizabeth Olsen will be even easier to distinguish from her famous older sisters: She’s traded that signature Olsen dirty-blonde hair color for a rich, dark brunette shade.

The actress debuted the new do on Bravo’s Watch What Happens Live, where, of course, Andy Cohen made her pick her favorite Olsen twin (for the record, it’s Ashley, because Mary-Kate forgot her birthday recently. And to clarify, yes, she was joking!). But it was the new do — not the sibling rivalry hijinks — that really caught our attention.

Miu Miu's Latest Ads Star Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen - and Lupita Nyong'o In Her First-Ever Fashion Campaign!

Jan/10/2014 at 12:32 PM ET

Clearly we weren’t the only ones to sit up and take notice of Lupita Nyong’o’s style when she burst onto the scene last fall. The 12 Years a Slave actress has made a meteoric rise in the fashion world — first landing a stunning editorial photo in Vogue, and now landing a spot in Miu Miu’s spring/summer ad campaign.

The actress joins other emerging young actresses including Elle Fanning, Elizabeth Olsen and Bella Heathcote (not pictured) for the fun, retro-feeling ads shot by Inez Van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. It’s fun to see Nyong’o in a totally unexpected outfit — while she’s most likely to wear sleek, streamlined sheaths and matching delicate shoes on the red carpet, in her ad, she’s decked out in a beaded bustier top, pink tights and some serious platform sandals. And we’re not surprised she wears it so well; after all, one of the first dresses she wore that caught our eye was a lovely bird print Miu Miu dress.

Fanning (above) appears to be more in her comfort zone in the ads, wearing a high-neck tulip print frock, textured yellow tights and red ankle-strap heels. The youngest Fanning sister hams it up, allowing plenty of her silly disposition to shine through — after all, she is only 15.

And Olsen, 24, channels her inner ’70s diva for her ad, showing off pin-straight strands, lace-up boots over red socks, a covetable handbag and a palapable sense of ennui. “The actresses’ poses, full of personality, convey their diverse points of view, effortlessly translating the new spirit of the Miu Miu woman,” the company says in a statement.

Move over, Givenchy Antigona bag. Take a hike, Brian Atwood Maniacs. Right now, Hollywood’s favorite item is a $152.73 leather pencil skirt from Asos.

While $150 is not small potatoes, it’s a total bargain in comparison to the leather pants ($800+) and handbags (often more than $2,000) that celebrities ordinarily wear. And these four stars show that the mid-length skirt, with its pockets and seaming, is super-versatile.

The Rise of Ruffles: Does This Hot Trend Give You a Frill?

Apr/25/2013 at 09:00 AM ET

Dresses with RufflesPictureGroup; Startraks; Broadimage

If you liked the exaggerated-hip dresses we were abuzz about earlier this week, then you might be a fan of this equally bold look seen on Mischa Barton, Kelly Osbourne and Elizabeth Olsen. Feast your eyes, ladies: Frilly, ruffled necklines are the latest trend to hit Hollywood.

To start small, take a cue from Mischa in her cream high-necked dress with matching pleated sleeves. The look is fresh to try out in front of girl friends, but also has man repeller written all over it, so beware of breaking this style out in front of dudes.

For those who can handle a bit more flounce, bump up to Kelly’s white ruffle front. She clearly knows black-and-white is a go-to trend for spring.

And if you really want to flex your right to wear neck volume, go all out like Elizabeth. The youngest Olsen sister makes a major statement in a black embellished top and skirt from the Chloé Spring 2013 collection.

Saturday night: Tights weather is over, and it’s time to celebrate by showing off your fabulous stems. Taylor Swift has the right idea in her tight black Elizabeth and James number ($365 here), which she pairs with what we bet are her favorite shoes in her closet — a sexy, strappy pair of $320 Jean-Michel Cazabat sandals. Make heads snap as you walk by with this strategically sheer Asos mini, $27.43, worn with these equally saucy Amiana heels, $42.08.

Celebs Can't Wait 'Til Sunday to Get Prabal Gurung for Target, Either

Normally when we’re envious of a celeb’s wardrobe, it’s because they’ve got a closet full of pricey pumps or the It Bag that we won’t be able to afford no matter how many pennies we pinch. But in the case of Zoë Saldana, Elizabeth Olsen and Rashida Jones, it’s because they’re the first stars to step out in the covetable Prabal Gurung for Target collection — three days before it hits stores.

Gurung’s longtime fan Saldana was spotted in L.A. wearing a $29.99 sweatshirt from the collection. That sweatshirt was one of the first things to sell out at an N.Y.C. shopping preview event (attended by Olsen in a $39.99 dress and Jones in a $34.99 blouse from the collection) that was packed with VIPs clamoring to go on the indoor carnival rides, get a glimpse of Ne-Yo and, yes, get first dibs on clothes from the line.
