“I’m a bit of a fragrance and lingerie snob,” Von Teese tells PEOPLE of her decision to market her lines to a wider audience on HSN. “Every woman should have luxury in her everyday life.”

If anyone is going to wear Christian Louboutin ballet slippers, it’s Dita Von Teese. And the lucky lady is doing just that: she Tweeted a picture of her custom red-soled pointe shoes on Wednesday, making us trés jealous.

“My custom made @LouboutinWorld ballet shoes have arrived…” the burlesque star wrote. ”Flashing that red sole, ballet style….#stripstriphooray…”

Her special Paris delivery didn’t just include a pair of classic ballet-pink shoes, however; Louboutin sent Von Teese multiple pairs in teal, pink, black and black with rhinestones to match her outrageous on-stage costumes.

And it looks like the dancer couldn’t wait to break in her new kicks — she posted a photo of herself to her WhoSay page trying the shoes on for size (below). Attention, ballerinas: You’ve got some competition!

Dita von Teese: Being Beautiful Takes Practice

Dita von Teese Shows Off Her Beauty Routine
Landov

A quick review of the past decade in the life of Dita von Teese and two things become abundantly clear: the woman never ages, and she always looks perfect.

There’s good reason for that: Von Teese’s trademark look — alabaster skin, doe eyes and pin-up curls — is the result of years of perfecting the routine. “Practice is everything when it comes to beauty,” she tells Stylist.co.uk readers. “If I don’t do my eyeliner for a week or so, I’m not so good at it.”

To that end, the burlesque star, who always does her own hair and makeup, relies on an arsenal of products including Diorific lipstick, M.A.C rougemarie nail polish and hot rollers for a photo finish.

And just because she recycles her red carpet looks doesn’t mean the star gets ready in a hurry. “One of the things that I do to have a glamorous day is take a bit of time to put on makeup and choose clothes that I like to wear,” she says, emphasizing the importance of an area designated to primping. “[Always] have a good vanity place to do your makeup and a place with good lighting — natural light is the best.”

Double Take: Dita Von Teese Wears the Same Dress Twice

Oh yes she did! The always pin-up-perfect Dita Von Teese dared to double dip her famous curves in the same Jean Paul Gaultier gown at two events just days apart. And the burlesque diva, who first donned the haute couture creation last Wednesday night to fête the designer himself at the opening of The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk exhibit at the Dallas Museum of Art, doesn’t care.

“I don’t agree that you can only wear things once,” she told InStyle.com while working what she called her “favorite dress in the world” again over the weekend at the MoCA gala in Los Angeles. “I think when you have something you really love, there should be nothing that stops you from enjoying it.”

A fearless fashionista, Von Teese is also financially savvy. “When a dress costs as much as a Mercedes, you want to wear it more than once,” she joked. Makes (fashion) sense to us! Tell us: What are your rules on rewearing dresses?

Dita Von Teese’s New Perfume: Made for Grown-Up Girls

Dita Von Teese Fragrance

Dita Von Teese knows how she wants to smell — and it’s not like candy. The burlesque-star-turned-perfumer has just put the finishing touches on her swoon-worthy new scent, and it has all the essences that she was going for.

“It’s a fragrance for everyone, and I’m really proud of the level of sophistication we reached both with the packaging and the fragrance,” she tells WWD. “There’s no fruity vanilla bull—t. I’m sorry, but you know what I mean? A lot of celebrity fragrances are fruit, vanilla, and I wanted something for grown-up girls.”

To accomplish that, Von Teese whipped up a fragrance that appealed to her own senses instead. “We’ve only just come up with the scent, so I’m still working on my lingo, but it’s a lot of luscious flowers — Bulgarian rose, tiare, peony — and there’s a sexy wood,”
she shares.
