It may be frigid in Salt Lake City, but the stars in town for the Sundance Film Festival have figured out that the best way to punctuate the snowy landscape is with eye-catching accessories! A-listers including Demi Moore, Liv Tyler, Elizabeth Olsen and Kate Bosworth don’t sacrifice style for warmth by accenting winter wear with a variety of seasonal accoutrement. Ashton’s gal chose industrial lace-up booties to trudge through the snow while Tyler, in town on behalf of her dramatic film The Edge, stayed toasty in a fuzzy hat with ear flaps. Newcomer, and little sister to Mary-Kate and Ashley, Olsen kept the freeze out with a cozy wraparound scarf and burgundy beret, which she paired with on-trend leather leggings. And Bosworth, who has two films at the festival, avoided hat hair with cute buffalo check earmuffs. With adorable extras like these, we say: Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow! Tell us: How are you staying warm this winter?Justine Harman

Hollywood’s Newest Fashion Fetish: Carven

Hollywood's New Fashion Favorite: Carven
Ramey; NBC; BEImages

It seems there is a new designer du jour in Tinseltown: Parisian brand, Carven. Although the design house is over 65 years old, Hollywood’s youngest and brightest stars including Kim Kardashian, Emma Watson, Gwyneth Paltrow, Leighton Meester and Demi Moore are flocking to the collection for its playful silhouettes and unique details. Last September, Kardashian indulged in some high-end retail therapy, touring France in a voluminous Carven frock with a peekaboo back. Two months later, Emma Watson rocked a coquettish putty-colored shift dress accented with a classic schoolgirl collar. Flash forward to the L.A. premiere of No Strings Attached where Demi Moore dazzled in the brand’s double-zip design with sculpted shoulders. Carven describes its aesthetic as “student-boho chic” with “a distinct taste for contrast,” but we only have two words: “C’est l’amour!” Snag some Carven pieces for yourself at net-a-porter.com, with prices starting at $320. –Justine Harman

Bruce Willis Gives Daughter Hair Advice: Bald is Beautiful

Stephen Lovekin/Getty

On a visit to his native Germany to promote Red, his latest movie, Bruce Willis shared his fatherly advice to daughter Tallulah who, like many teenage girls, struggles with her fair share of bad hair days. According to the Berlin tabloid B.Z., Willis said, “My sixteen-year-old daughter Tallulah was complaining recently about how much work it is to wash and blow dry her long hair.” Willis’s solution? Try something simpler. “If you had my hair style you’d be done in five minutes. You’d save a lot of time!” he said, smiling and motioning to his bald head. He added, “Men like me have more important things to do than worry about a haircut.” (Tallulah could check with her mother, Willis’s ex-wife Demi Moore, who has experience with shaving her head, having famously shorn her locks for a role in G.I. Jane). The actor, who was in Berlin with Emma Heming, his wife of two years, also told journalists that despite turning 55 earlier this year, he doesn’t feel too old for the action roles he plays. “I’ll keep on going anyway. The good thing about my job is that I can still play these roles when I’m just skin and bones. In Die Hard 212, I’ll fire the last shot.” –Karen Nickel Anhalt

Demi Moore’s Newest Detox Adventure: Going ‘Clean’

Jason LaVeris/FilmMagic

Just weeks after Tweeting about her detox à deux with husband Ashton Kutcher, Demi Moore is coming clean again about her latest fitness craze–but this time she’s talking up a totally different program. Admitting that she only lasted four days on the Master Cleanse, which consists of a diet only of Cayenne pepper, lemon juice, maple syrup, it seems that the star is onto greener (and more filling!) pastures. “2day’s day 13 4me on The Clean Program!” Demi Tweeted on Tuesday. The three-week cleanse, developed by cardiologist Dr. Alejandro Junger, has long been raved about by stars like Gwyneth Paltrow for its ability to depuff and detoxify the body by excluding common allergens and glutens. The non-fasting plan is also favored by some celebs who find its two liquid meals a day and one vegetable-, grain- and protein-filled lunch a more livable option than food-free detoxes. And while Demi doesn’t mention whether cleanse-resistant Ashton is joining her on this program, she’s just days away from crossing its three-week finish line. Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher’s Detox à Deux

Jason Merritt/Getty

Looks like Hollywood lovebirds Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher have mastered more than love, taking to their respective Twitter accounts this weekend to reveal their latest fitness obsession, the Master Cleanse. “2nd day of master cleanse and off to hike with hubby and the dogs,” Demi Tweeted Sunday, adding, “2nd day better than the 1st!.” The celeb-loved dietary detox program involves drinking six to twelve glasses daily of a lemon juice, maple syrup, cayenne pepper and water concoction–and nothing else. And while some stars have used the program to drop pounds, Demi insists that “this is about health!!!” For his part, Ashton seems slightly less enthusiastic about the program, tweeting: “9 hrs into the master cleanse. I want a steak, a beer, and a blow-pop. Hmmm this is gonna be rough.” When one fan Tweeted about the grumpy side-effects she’d had to endure when her own husband tried out the plan, Moore responds, “That’s Y we R doing it 2gether!” Tell us: Do you think it’s easier to get fit with a partner, like Demi and Ashton? –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester
