When David Beckham retired from soccer, women around the world worried that their quota of shirtless Becks photos would no longer be met. But those fears appear to have been unwarranted because the star’s career as an abs-barer is still going strong, as evidenced by the just-released shots from his latest H&M collection campaign.
On Wednesday morning, the brand shared photos from the David Beckham Bodywear Collection shoot, which feature the 38-year old British athlete flexing his muscles in a variety of clothing: sweats, a henley, a baseball tee, pajama pants and in one particularly memorable shot, nothing but a pair of boxer-briefs.
This is his second installment in the collection for H&M, which launched last year. And it’s hardly the first time he’s posed in his skivvies. (Remember back in 2007 when he stripped down for an Armani underwear ad?)
“It was like I had gone right back to my roots,” Beckham said. (No, he’s not talking about taking off his shirt, but rather the location of the shoot, an old-school East London locker room.) If these sexy photos are the result of him tapping into his roots, we’re in full support of him digging even deeper next time.
The David Beckham Bodywear Collection will be available in H&M stores across the country this fall. David Beckham is, unfortch, still not available.
