Jennifer Aniston’s Fashion Inspirations? Cameron and Cate!

Face to face/iPhoto; Jason Merritt/Getty; Pascal Le Segretain/Getty

Jennifer Aniston‘s dedication to designer frocks and sleek looks has earned her more than her fair share of fashion fans, making her one of Hollywood’s hottest style icons. And while she consistently holds her own on the red carpet—most recently shining in a color-blocked Lanvin mini at the L.A. premiere of The Switch—the actress admits to pulling inspiration from other A-listers. “I love seeing Cameron Diaz on the red carpet,” she tells Extra. “I think she’s gorgeous and has a lot of style.” Another source of inspiration for Jen? Cate Blanchett, who Aniston lauds as “always interesting and unique.” And while Jennifer’s fashionable peers might have distinctly different approaches to style, when you put them together, Blanchett’s structured styling and Diaz’s surfer-girl sensibility somehow reflect Aniston’s own laid-back sophistication. But could this fashion equation be the recipe for a collection of her own? Aniston’s sly response: “Maybe.” To hear more, check out extratv.com. –Justine Harman

Cameron Diaz’s Rising Hemlines: Short, Shorter, Shortest!

Iphoto, Flynet, Landov

With her supermodel-long legs and chic sense of style, Cameron Diaz has been lighting up the red carpet as she and Knight and Day costar Tom Cruise continue their whirlwind European promotional tour. But the more countries that Cameron visits, the higher her hemlines seem to become! From Germany to England to France, the A-lister’s premiere dresses have gone from short to shorter to shortest. The actress first turned heads in Munich last Wednesday, where she wore a stunning asymmetric white Bottega Veneta dress with nude peep-toe heels. The next night, Cameron rocked another thigh-grazing frock in London, this time a stylish micro-sequin sweater dress from local favorite Stella McCartney. And at this weekend’s premiere in Bordeaux, France, she took it one step further, or perhaps we should say shorter, when she worked the carpet in a black-and-white Vionnet mini that almost seemed more tunic top than full-blown dress. If anyone can work a thigh-grazer, it’s definitely Cameron, but we can’t help but wonder if some of these gam-baring looks are actually just too short. Cameron Diaz Appreciates her ‘Juicy’ Bootie — and her Wrinkles!

Terry Richardson/Harper’s Bazaar

Cameron Diaz is as known for her stunning style as for her enviable figure and seemingly endless legs. But at 37-years-old, the actress tells Harper’s Bazaar, much to our reassurance, that her million-dollar body is something she does work hard at. “Exercise for me is like eating, sleeping, and breathing,” she explains to the magazine in its August issue. Five-times-a-week gym sessions keep her figure in skinny-jeans shape, but unlike many of her contemporaries, the star works out to keep weight on. “When I’m not consistent, it shows up on my body. I get really skinny, and I know it might sound like, ‘Well, good for you.’ But the body that people talk about is not me trying to stay slim, it’s the one where I work hard to keep weight on me.” Another area where she is not looking to lose any assets? Her celebrated bootie. “I have a tiny little one,” she says. “But, it is, nonetheless, juicy.” Equally juicy for the star, is life at the moment, and while Cameron has noticed her body change as she gets older, she takes a glass-half-full approach to the transformation, insisting she feels more attractive as she ages. “I’m appreciating my skin and my wrinkles and all those things because you cannot stop aging, you can’t.” To check out more of Cameron’s interview, pick up the August issue of Harper’s Bazaar or check out harpersbazaar.com. –Katherine Kluznik Rentmeester

Cameron Diaz’s Fountain of Youth Secret: ‘Lots of Sex’

Courtesy British Vogue

Ask most people about their tricks for staying youthful, and their tips, more often than not, sound less than exciting: A miracle cream here, an hour on the StairMaster there. The Cameron Diaz plan, on the other hand, sounds like anything but a chore. ”The fountain of youth, let’s see. I guess it’s exercise, healthy diet, lots of water, lots of laughter, lots of sex,” reveals the cover girl in the July issue of British Vogue. “Yes, sex, we need that as human beings. It’s healthy, it’s natural, it’s what we’re here to do.” Though photographed regularly in leg-baring short-shorts, minidresses and bikinis, the 37-year-old actress, who has been romantically linked to Alex Rodriguez and Justin Timberlake, among other notable hunks, is modest about her stunning California surfer girl looks. “I might as well enjoy it while I’ve still got something,” says Diaz, a veritable poster child of aging well. “You’ve got to be realistic,” she says. “I mean, I don’t want to look 25 again.” For more on Cameron, pick up the July issue of Vogue UK or visit vogue.co.uk. –Marissa Patlingrao Cooley

Cameron’s Short-Shorts Secret? Hard Work

Fame

Sure, even her trainer Teddy Bass admits Cameron Diaz is a “genetic wonder,” but that doesn’t mean the 37-year-old actress can slack off on her workouts. For her role as a Daisy-Dukes wearing professor in the new movie Bad Teacher, Diaz maintained a rigorous workout regimen. “Cameron has an amazing work ethic both in work and personally in life as a whole,” says Bass. “She works so hard.” And how hard is hard for the perfectly toned star? With her “schedule permitting,” the actress hits the gym with Bass for regular sessions of weights for strength training including lots of lunges and squats, mixed in with cardio circuits and Pilates work. Her “desired look,” according to Bass? “Elongated” and toned muscles — a goal she’s clearly achieved. Adds Bass: “That photo doesn’t lie or hide anything!” –Charlotte Triggs

VOTE: Who Wears Her Daisy Dukes Best?

Globe; Warner Bros./Zuma; Fame

Who wears short-shorts? The barely-there bottoms have been a Hollywood onscreen staple ever since Catherine Bach made her debut as the original Daisy Duke in 1979. And when Jessica Simpson reprised Catherine’s role in the 2005 big screen version of The Dukes of Hazzard, the sexy short-shorts made a major comeback. Now, Cameron Diaz is heating things up in a pair of her own on the set of Bad Teacher. With their toned–and tanned!– legs, Catherine, Jessica and Cameron all sizzle in their short-shorts, but only one leading lady can be the true queen of the “daisy dukes”. Tell us: Who rocks her short-shorts best? Vote now!

WATCH: Rachel Zoe’s Chanel Couture Fix for Cameron Diaz

So how fast can Rachel Zoe get her A-list clients gowns for the red carpet? In less than 24 hours, if last night’s premiere episode of Bravo’s The Rachel Zoe Project is to be believed. With less than a week to get dresses for Demi Moore, Debra Messing, Anne Hathaway, Cameron Diaz and Eva Mendes for last year’s Golden Globe Awards, Rachel’s team sprung into action. And while shipping caused more than a few headaches — Mendes’s Dior gown ended up at Chanel! — nothing compared to Rachel’s decision four days before the show to nab a pink Chanel Haute Couture gown for Diaz — only problem being that it had an unwanted sleeve and was still in Paris! Who was going to tell Karl Lagerfeld that the sleeve needed to go? Luckily for Diaz and Zoe alike, the altered gown arrived at Rachel’s studio the day before the awards. But as we knew they would, in the end, all of Rachel’s leading ladies “shut it down” at the Golden Globe Awards. We “die”! Watch a clip from last night’s show, and tell us: are you watching The Rachel Zoe Project this season?
