Current Obsession: Beyoncé’s Curls!

Beyonce's Curly HairAdmedia; Fame; Abaca

Who run the world? Curls! It seems that Beyoncé left the flatiron at home when she visited Europe this week, instead choosing to let her curls coil freely. The singing star got the show going at the Glastonbury music festival in England Sunday, sparkling in a sexy Alexandre Vauthier mini, her hair blowing in the breeze. For a trip to Harrods Monday, she slipped into a curve-hugging tangerine peplum sheath and pumped up the volume in her locks. Then Tuesday, Beyoncé shimmered during a visit to Paris to perform on the X-Factor, her curls falling gently on her shoulders. We haven’t seen Beyoncé go so au naturel in a while — but we have to say we like it! What do you think?

FIRST LOOK: Beyoncé’s Pulse Fragrance Ad

Is your heart racing yet? Beyoncé‘s latest fragrance, Pulse, hits stores in September, and the sexy, just-released ad already has our pulses beating faster. The seductive scent — a follow-up to the singer’s perfumes Heat and Heat Rush — features notes of pear blossom, peony, midnight blooming jasmine, Madagascar vanilla and for the first time in a fragrance, bluebird orchid. “Pulse is a fragrance you can wear all the time,” Beyoncé tells PEOPLE exclusively. “I love the idea of a signature scent that lets a woman leave her mark wherever she goes, so I always try to make my scents appropriate for any occasion.” The fragrance comes in an upside-down chrome-and-blue bottle, neatly tucked into a holographic carton. The bottle’s topper, a chrome cap, was inspired by her stage costumes. “I love [that] because it incorporates fashion into the overall design,” Beyoncé said in a statement. The print ad was photographed by Lionel Gasperini, and the TV commercial was shot by Jake Nava, who directed the singer’s “Single Ladies” video and her oh-so-sexy Heat commercial. Edited by Beyoncé, it’s set to the first single from her new album. Tell us: What do you think of Beyoncé’s Pulse ad?

Billboard Music Awards Style: It’s All about the Little Black Dress!

Las Vegas might be known for playing up the glitz and glam, but for Sunday night’s Billboard Music Awards, it was all about the little black dress. Whether it was super sexy like Selena Gomez‘s cut-out Dolce & Gabbana gown or futuristic like Fergie‘s strap-heavy Hervé Léger by Max Azria Atelier mini, music’s heaviest hitters went for the classic color. Nicole Kidman added a sweet touch with her long lace dress and side braid, while Beyoncé embodied simple elegance in a Lanvin sheath with over 75 carats of Lorraine Schwartz diamonds! Lady Antebellum’s Hillary Scott skipped the country-favorite gowns for a sleek Mandalay dress with a semi-precious stone neckline. And let’s not forget Kylie Minogue’s heavily embellished Alexander McQueen frock with fringed booties or Britney Spears‘s clean-lined, spaghetti strap Hervé Léger mini. Whew, what a night for the LBD! Take our poll below and tell us who was your favorite!

Beyoncé’s ‘Run the World (Girls)’ Video: The Fashion Breakdown!

Beyoncé is never less than fierce, but in her new video for “Run the World (Girls),” the first single off her fourth solo album, she was F-I-E-R-C-E! From her scarlet Alexander McQueen to her black Jean Paul Gaultier couture gown, the singer proved she can bust a move in fashion’s finest. Other notable looks in the Mad Max-style video, set in the desert, are a white feather-laden Givenchy Haute Couture gown by Riccardo Tisci and two sexy cut-out gowns from Emilio Pucci, the label that dressed her for the recent Metropolitan Museum of Art Costume Institute Gala. And let’s not overlook her accessories — from a fistful of geometric Laruicci gold rings to knee-high Sergio Rossi gladiator boots with plumes and studs, it’s enough to make a Beverly Hills housewife jealous. Tell us: What’s your favorite look? Melissa Liebling-Goldberg

Stars Turn Out in Style for Oprah Winfrey’s Farewell Taping

It might as well have been the Oscars. Megawatt stars like Tom Hanks, Tom Cruise, Dakota Fanning, Alicia Keys, Aretha Franklin, Maria Shriver and more showed up to fête Oprah Winfrey in Chicago Tuesday night as she filmed two of her final Oprah Winfrey Show episodes. “I feel the love, and I thank you for it,” Winfrey told her famous friends — and the crowd of 13,000 fans inside Chicago’s United Center — as the festivities rolled on. And naturally, for such a big event, stars brought out big style. Halle Berry, in Victoria Beckham, joined Katie Holmes, in shorts and a blouse, and an LBD-clad Queen Latifah for a touching Winfrey tribute. Madonna wore a dress from Miu Miu‘s fall/winter 2011 collection, while Beyoncé performed in a tuxedo-inspired leotard and hot red heels. Not to be outdone, Winfrey — perhaps dressed by her stylist? — looked regal in a floor-length purple L’Wren Scott gown, green gems and a slicked-back ponytail. Nary a fashion miss to be seen! Tell us: Which stars’ look was your favorite?

Beyoncé Creates Cute T-shirts for the ‘Let’s Move’ Campaign

Sporting fashionable ensembles no matter what the task seems to come naturally for Beyoncé. So when she decided to teach kids a few dance moves during a surprise visit to a middle school on Tuesday, she made sure they were styling for the occasion, too! The superstar got a group of students moving on the dance (er, gym) floor when she stopped by for an unannounced visit at New York’s P.S. 161 in Harlem, toting custom-designed T-shirts by her label, Deréon. The visit was made on behalf of First Lady Michelle Obama‘s “Let’s Move” initiative, a campaign aimed at encouraging young children to make healthier lifestyle choices. The black tees, emblazoned with the “Let’s Move” logo, came from a collaboration between Beyoncé, her mom Tina Knowles and the first lady. Though they aren’t available for sale, they will become the official shirts of the growing campaign. It looks like Beyoncé really does have an outfit for every occasion! –Kim Peiffer
