Beyoncé's Most Memorable Outfits Make the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame (Guess Which Ones!)

Jul/22/2014 at 12:12 PM ET

All eyes are on Beyoncé this week. Okay, that’s nothing new for her, but the beyhive is extra buzzy for two reasons. First, she’ll be revealing the first exclusive trailer of Fifty Shades of Grey Thursday (cue the ‘Is she on the soundtrack?’ speculation), and second, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Museum just announced they’ll be displaying her best outfits from the past 10 years as part of a new exhibit. This is a first for the museum: She’s the first star to get an exhibit without actually being in the Hall of Fame herself. (It’s only a matter of time!) Read More

Beyoncé's 'On the Run' Tour Leotards: The Good, the Bad and the Butt-Framing

If you’re in the market for a sexy leotard, possibly one with a good deal of butt exposure, you may want to move quickly: Beyoncé has cornered the market and at the rate she’s going, there may be a shortage by the end of 2014. After wearing a variety of creative onesies on her Mrs. Carter tour, at the Grammys and in her videos, we didn’t know how much farther she could go within the medium. We should never underestimate the Queen Bey, though: she’s even topped her own personal leotard record with her latest outfits for her joint “On the Run” tour with husband Jay Z, which kicked off Wednesday in Miami.

There were plenty of things to discuss from the kickoff concert (the Carters show wedding footage! They dance up on each other!) but most noteworthy, in our opinion, was Beyoncé’s most butt-framing leotard, as seen above left. It gives a whole new meaning to “business in the front, party in the back,” and is not recommended for the average person at work. Bey also went for a sparkly surfer-girl vibe in a one-piece with a sequin bikini bottom/rash guard feel thanks to the sheer stomach panel. Then there was the “sexy denim cop” complete with denim garters (courtesy of Diesel), the “sexy burglar” complete with crystal mesh balaclava (and more butt-framing pieces) and “sexy ’80s video girl” in an Atelier Versace unitard with matching Medusa-emblazoned beanie. And we assure you, this is only a sample of the many leotards in which Bey performed.

RELATED PHOTOS: See what your favorite stars were wearing last night! (Hint: Not leotards)

Truly, no one wears a tight one-piece quite like Beyoncé (sorry, Lady Gaga and Miley Cyrus), and since she spends her whole concert dancing like crazy, we know she needs the full range of motion. Are you loving her leotard obsession, or are you ready for her to try a new look? Which is your favorite? And how about that butt window?

Beyoncé Wears Super-Long Braids

Beyoncé and Rihanna are constantly going head-to-head (hair-to-hair?) for most mane changes in any given month. It seems like we can’t turn around without one of them sporting a pixie, wild curls, an intricate updo or a sleek bob. But Beyoncé may be pulling ahead in the best-tressed race this month with her latest look: A full head of long, elaborate braids.

Bey was snapped in N.Y.C. with husband Jay Z wearing her new ombré hip-length style, which she wore pulled to one side for a waterfall effect. Wondering how long it might take to transform Beyoncé’s hair into these braids? Writer/reporter Jackie Fields (who has tried the style herself) says “Unless she had, oh, I don’t know, 10 people working on it at once, her hair took hours. Mine took five!”

Jackie also suggests that Bey opted for the style because she might have a warm-weather vacation coming up (after all, the last time she rocked these locks was on an anniversary trip with Jay to Cuba — and her sister Solange favors them for beach and boat trips as well). “It’s just so easy breezy,” Jackie explains. “If she’s hopping on a yacht to some hot spot, this is a no brainer.”

Which leads us to wonder: Is Beyoncé getting prepped for a trip to Paris and Florence to witness the nuptials of another celeb power couple? Did Jay promise her a yacht trip around the Mediterranean if she didn’t upstage the bride? Is Kim even letting anyone in the door who doesn’t have regulation Kardashian bombshell waves?

While you ponder those deep questions, tell us in the comments how you feel about Beyoncé’s braids. Is this a top Bey hairstyle for you?
