Ashley Tisdale Is Back to Blonde

Do blondes really have more fun? Ashley Tisdale certainly thinks so! The actress, most recently a dark brunette, took to Twitter on Sunday to share a pic of her shorter, lightened locks, declaring, “its summer and im ready for some FUN.” The starlet — who celebrated her 26th birthday on July 2, with pal Zac Efron on hand — has flirted with many hair colors over the years. Blonde in her bubbly High School Musical days, she also tried a light red look before going back and forth between brunette and blonde. So is the new hue here to stay? Kate’s Jenny Packham: In Stylish Company

There’s no denying it: the Duchess of Cambridge stunned at the Absolute Return for Kids (ARK) gala in London Thursday. Hitting the carpet in a pearlescent rose-colored silk tulle Jenny Packham dress with sequin and Swarovski crystal beading ($6,300; currently sold out in the U.K.) — plus delicate L.K. Bennett Agata Rose heels ($315; currently sold out) — Catherine was the picture of a true princess. But she’s not the first star to step out in one of the British designer’s glimmering spring/summer 2011 creations. Ashley Tisdale made a splash at the Elton John AIDS Foundation Oscar Viewing Party in February, wearing a nude antique lace Packham gown with an asymmetrical neckline and crystal-beaded waist. Sandra Bullock dazzled at the Golden Globes in January in a powder pink one-shoulder crystal-encrusted gown, accented with understated jewels. And Leighton Meester wore a tea length Packham dress with similar sparkle as Upper East Side queen Blair Waldorf on a recent episode of Gossip Girl. There are two new names on the tips of Tinseltown tongues: those of Australian design team camilla and marc! Just last month, the brother-sister duo captured the hearts of fashionistas including Ashley Tisdale, Rachel Bilson and Hayden Panettiere, and the stars definitely did the designers proud. “She keeps the look well balanced and effortlessly chic,” Camilla Freeman-Topper tells PEOPLE of Tisdale, who paired her $460 “Blind Call” dress with a LOFT necklace. As for Bilson, “Rachel’s got something going on … her style is individual and unique. I love seeing girls take one of our pieces and make it their own,” Freeman-Topper gushes of the $690 “Equinox” frock she wore out in N.Y.C. And though Panettierre selected an overtly-feminine look, the designer thinks she perfectly accessorized the $1,010 “Cantel” mini. “Coupled with the hair, makeup and delicate shoes, Hayden made the look stylish and sophisticated,” she praises. Ashley Tisdale (Finally) Buys a Birkin!

The wait is finally over: After two years of pure patience, Ashley Tisdale finally scored a coveted Hermès Birkin bag. The star took to Twitter to announce the news Tuesday, sharing pictures of her pretty new purchase. “After two years of waiting the New York Hermes store came through!! Aaahhh!!!!!” she Tweeted. Her color of choice for the infamous bag, known for its notoriously long wait list? A bright cobalt blue. The Hellcats star isn’t the only celeb who’s had to wait in line for her Birkin, but fashionistas like Olivia Palermo say it’s worth the wait, touting it as a pivotal moment when the bag finally arrives. Tisdale joins famous taste-makers like Victoria Beckham and Ashley Olsen, who also tote the iconic purse. Perhaps Anne Hathaway is next? Ashley Tisdale Cheering Her New Workout-Heavy ‘Hellcats’ Role

Ashley Tisdale has much to be excited about when it comes to life after East High School. Following the third installment of the popular High School Musical, Tisdale has focused on her CW show, Hellcats, in which she plays a cheerleader. And while she still loves her narcissistic character in HSM, Tisdale said there are certain things about Hellcats that she prefers. “It’s awesome to be able to work out for your job all the time,” Tisdale told PEOPLE of her role that often has her in sports bras and short shorts. “I am constantly working out with my trainer. I’m on a more healthy diet. I have a cheat day, though. It’s a very healthy way of living, I must say. It’s a lot of fun.” Her cheat food? “Something involving bread or pasta.” But the 25-year-old still embraces her days as a female antagonist on the Disney series, as well as her former cast mates. “The cast is growing up and we’re doing our own projects but I have to say there is a tight bond with all of us,” Tisdale told PEOPLE Sunday while hosting a party at Las Vegas’s Wet Republic. “We went through something that is so lucky and it’s something that does not happen every day and we have that connection.
