The Fourth of July is tomorrow, and, if you’re like us, you’re probably scrambling last-minute to decide what to pack for your Independence Day festivities. It can be a challenge to incorporate the U.S.A.’s signature colors into your wardrobe without looking like the grand ol’ flag — just check out this week’s Fashion Faceoff if you don’t believe us. To keep your thematic dressing on the chic side of festive, we dug up five celeb outfits for a little ensemble inspiration. Let the fashion fireworks begin.

See ya, Sharpay! Ashley Tisdale has cut off the signature long, blonde waves she’s had since her High School Musical days for a cut that’s layered, lighter and lovely, and we’re totally into her new do. (Until now, the most experimental she’s gotten with her strands is a dark brunette hue, so a new cut is very different — and super-refreshing — for the star.)

In our weekly roundup of the looks that are gaining fashion ground (and the ones losing their style street cred), we saw oversized prints, bangs worth a second look and a smoky eye that isn’t quite right for spring.

New York Fashion Week has officially begun! On Wednesday night, Benefit Cosmetics hosted the REAL-volutionary Awards to kick off the big week, and when we hit up the party, we assumed everyone would be talking about designers and runway shows. But Ashley Tisdale had something else on her mind: her big day.
“I want to make sure it’s perfect!” the 28-year-old actress gushed to PEOPLE exclusively about her upcoming wedding to rocker Christopher French. “But it’s going to be a while. I started a Pinterest board, but I’m not one to rush anything. For me, it’s stressful just thinking about my birthday, so I can’t imagine my wedding day!”
The star also revealed that she’s thinking about cutting (or, uh, getting rid of) her long locks soon. “It’s more like taking my extensions out,” she laughed. “I love to rock a shorter ‘do in the fall. Summer’s fun for long beachy hair, but then I like to be lighter in the fall. Everyone goes darker and I want to go lighter — it’s not as typical.”
Wonder if she’ll get bridal gown (or hair) inspiration from any of the looks that will go down the runway at New York Fashion Week. (Tiz, we’ve got you covered: We’ll keep an eye out for wedding inspiration looks for you to add to your Pinterest board.)

Continuing our weeklong theme of ’90s trend resurgence, we’d like to inform you that logo tees are back in a big way. But unlike the Abercrombie & Fitch-emblazoned tops you remember, stars are loving comfy, casual tees that poke fun at brand-name tops.
Clockwise from top left, check out Beyoncé in her “Name Brand” tank, Jordin Sparks perhaps paying tribute to boyfriend Jason DeRulo, Ashley Tisdale cheekily winking at Céline with a “Célfie” tee, Eva Longoria saying what the rest of us are thinking (“I’d rather be shopping!”) and Katy Perry riffing on the Christian Dior logo with a “Christian Death Metal” top.
We can always get behind making a statement with your clothing, but if you’re looking to really tap the celeb zeitgeist, you’ll nab a tee that’s a play on a designer logo. Shopjeen.com has a ton, from the Hermès logo altered to read “Homies” (owned by Khloé Kardashian), to a chic shout-out to Haider Ackermann, to a message to Saint Laurent many might agree with.
Tell us: Are you into wearing your heart on your tee? Would you wear a designer “knockoff” — and how would you style it?
