What do Michelle Williams and Ashlee Simpson-Wentz have in common besides being the mom of an adorable child, past starring roles on the WB network and stunning good looks? Platinum blonde pixie cuts! After running around Hollywood with long ombre hair for quite a while, her husband Pete Wentz took to his Twitter account on Sunday to report that Ashlee had chopped and dyed her hair, marking a major beauty change up. “Ashlee Simpson-Wentz (@ashsimpsonwentz) new blonde pixie haircut is cute. Ill try and sneak a pic to post,” he wrote. Making good on his word Tuesday, Wentz posted a picture of Ashlee and their son Bronx, who now have matching white-blonde hair. “Yah fam headed out tonight stoked! Cute hair mama!” he Tweeted. And although Ashlee has frequently changed up her style in the past–switching between all shades of red, blonde and brown–we can’t decide which look we like best. Jessica Simpson Launches Her Denim Line With Help from Famous Friends & Family

With a little help from her sister and some of her girlfriends, Jessica Simpson proved last night that fashion is a family affair. The blonde bombshell kicked off New York Fashion Week Tuesday with a private party celebrating the launch of her new denim range. Using her closest gal pals, including little sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and television personality Cacee Cobb, Jessica treated fashion insiders to an intimate look at how her new jeans fit every shape and size–perfectly! Not only did Jessica’s guests get an exclusive preview of her upcoming spring 2011 collection, but they also received their very own pair of jeans, and were invited to upload a photo of themselves in their best-fitting style to Jess’s Facebook page. For each uploaded image, Jessica will make a $1-donation to her “A Beautiful Me” initiative, which aims to inspire self-esteem in the lives of young people. With brother-in-law Pete Wentz playing DJ and Jessica’s current flame Eric Johnson also on hand, Jess turned out one star-studded crowd. Jessica Simpson Using ‘Real Girls’ to Show Her Collection at New York Fashion Week

Jessica Simpson is no stranger to the front row, but to show her own collection during New York Fashion Week, the blonde bombshell is saying “no” to the runway and to professional models! Instead, Jessica plans to host a private presentation to preview her spring 2011 apparel and accessories collection, and showcase her new denim line using 8 of her best friends as models. Enlisting the likes of sister Ashlee Simpson-Wentz and close friend Cacee Cobb, Jessica will dress her nearest and dearest in her debut denim line as well as jewelry and apparel from her fall/holiday collection. The models will mingle with fashion editors and guests while brother-in-law Pete Wentz spins tunes. With all this star-wattage, it’s going to be hard to concentrate on the clothes! Pete Wentz on Couple Style: I’m A ‘Walking Purse’

Pete Wentz may have his own successful clothing line, Clandestine Industries, but he lets his fashionable wife Ashlee Simpson-Wentz take the lead in their couple style. “If I go out with her, I consider myself a walking purse,” he tells ELLE.com. “So I just try to match her outfit. But she’ll tell me when I look too stupid.” And in the same way his wife accepted his own former use of heavy guyliner, the rocker says that he, too, would support his son Bronx if he were to ever follow suit. “Whatever he does, I’ll support him,” he says. “I’m sure he’ll be into math or football or something I don’t know anything about and I’ll have to learn a lot about it.” And what new trend is the rocker now following? “The Jersey Shore kids,” he admits. “The show’s so organic, like, the first time humans have made contact with this species, and it’s amazing.” So could this mean that the rocker may be trading in his signature emo look for some DJ Pauly D hair spray? Very possibly. “When he [Pauly D] went underwater, and his hair stayed the same exact way, that was mind-blowing!” he exclaims. “And I love GTL [Gym, Tan, Laundry] — I almost want to start the practice.” Now, that’s something we’d have to see to believe. Ashlee Simpson-Wentz has never looked sexier, and at the Paris in L.A. party in honor of lingerie designer Carol Malony, the new mom showed off her enviable body-after-baby figure in — what else? — lingerie. “There is nothing like a great set of lingerie,” Ashlee said, showing off a bra by the designer, paired with high-waisted Catherine Malandrino shorts, a tuxedo blazer and Jimmy Choo platforms. “Carol is really detailed and intricate. I love that about her lingerie.” Ashlee told PEOPLE. Among her favorite pieces? The “Fairy Tulle” bra set that she just so happened to be wearing to the West Hollywood party. “The underwear that go with it are amazing as well — [but] only my husband can see. It’s nice for me, mostly, to feel comfortable and sexy,” she continued.
