We know, we know. We can’t believe Angelina Jolie is 40 either. But she’s had enough amazing style moments to pack a lifetime twice that long, which we’re happy to celebrate on this very convenient Throwback Thusday. Happy 40th Birthday, Angelina Jolie! Let's Celebrate with a Throwback Thursday of Your Best-Ever Style Moments
The first thing we thought when we saw Angelina Jolie in this sophisticated white dress at the London premiere of her new film Unbroken? It looks like something Scandal‘s Olivia Pope would wear. From the sleek bolero cape to the midi hemline to the button detailing down the back, the actress’s custom Ralph & Russo design would look just as good in Washington, D.C. as it does on the red carpet.

Angelina Jolie's Blonde Wig, Sarah Hyland's Long Extensions and More Celebrity (Faux) Hair Happenings
It’s been a big week for celebrity hair changes. Vanessa Hudgens got a lob, Ashlee Simpson debuted a shorter do and we confirmed Ellen Page’s pixie cut. But you can’t trust every dramatic mane switch-up you see. Other big-name stars have been parading around with faux hair. Here’s what you need to know to be on top of your game.
We’re not kidding when we say every celeb has a pair of black over-the-knee leather riding boots with a stretchy panel down the back. Emma Stone, Kate Moss, Angelina Jolie, Selena Gomez, Miranda Kerr, Leighton Meester — the list goes on. The difference between the boots they own and the boots we found for you in the video below is this: Theirs weigh in at over $600 and these cost a fraction of that.
We are all about these riding boots, so it’s a good thing they go with practically everything in our closets. We’ve been wearing ours with dresses and mini skirts sans tights, but now that the temperatures are dropping, we’re adding black opaques to the looks or pairing the boots with jeans or black skinnies.
Sure, we know the boots are something of an investment, but it’s one that’s well worth making. And not just because you’ll wear them to death this year; this is a classic style that’ll never go out of fashion thanks to the simple silhouette and versatility — so you’ll be wearing the pair for years to come.

Angelina Jolie‘s wedding gown was many things, but it certainly wasn’t predictable. When looking for the perfect dress in which to wed Brad Pitt, 50, at their home in France Saturday, the actress, 39, knew exactly who to turn to: Atelier Versace’s master tailor Luigi Massi — with a little extra help from her six children. Get all the scoop on the one-of-a-kind creation, below.

Angelina Jolie Gets Married! Let's Celebrate Throwback Thursday With the Dresses We Picked for Her in 2012 - and Guess What She Actually Wore
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt tied the knot secretly in France Saturday, with their kids serving variously as escorts, flower girls and ring bearers and a small group of family and friends around them. And while Pitt, 50, has already debuted his new “married man” hardware, we feel like we may be waiting a lot longer for any hints as to Jolie-related wedding regalia (though her engagement ring is certainly spectacular).
So in honor of Throwback Thursday, we’re remembering three outfits we picked for her way back when they got engaged — then bringing it into the present with three more looks we hope she considered for her walk down the aisle. And yes, we know she probably wore a classic suit or something she had in her closet (she’s just that cool) but that won’t stop us from having some fun speculating this morning.
