Jessica Biel arrived on the arm of fiancé Justin Timberlake; she worked an ivory satin deep-V gown with jade stones by Prada (and that ring!) while he accessorized his tux with a Cartier watch. Gisele Bündchen (in Givenchy Haute Couture by Riccardo Tisci) looked equally lovely on the arm of husband Tom Brady, who drew lots of looks for his new hairstyle.

Blake Lively was swept off her feet by another man on Tuesday night: designer Christian Louboutin. Lively, along with stars like Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen, Calvin Klein and Tyrese, came out to Barneys New York to fête the legendary shoe designer on the 20th anniversary of his collection.

“They are the most beautiful shoes out there,” Lively told PEOPLE of Louboutin’s scarlet-soled creations. “And incredibly innovative.” Wearing her own pair of splatter-paint snakeskin stilettos, the Gossip Girl star said “it’s embarrassing” how many pairs of the heels she owns. But she’s not alone: more than 200 fashion lovers toasted the designer Tuesday and waited patiently as he autographed copies of his new self-titled book. When he signed Klein’s tome, he wrote, “For my dear, Calvin.”

Style stars like Katie Holmes and Kim Kardashian have turned into Hollywood heroes, recently starring in the new Buy Life ad campaign for Alicia Keys‘ Keep a Child Alive initiative, which raises money for those affected by HIV/AIDS in Africa and India. Other A-listers like Usher and Serena Williams are also lending their faces to the charitable campaign, stripping down to jeans and T-shirts that feature unique scannable bar codes, which make easier than ever to donate to the charity. “With the launch of our Buy Life campaign, I am confident less people will needlessly have to die because of lack of proper care which means more children will still have parents to raise them and guide them. The Grammy winner set off the jewel detail on her back shoulder with crystal-encrusted flat sandals — an elegant headband and a bouquet of purple calla lillies completed her modern goddess look.
