Mar/29/2016 at 10:46 AM ET

Being pregnant is, of course, a miracle and a blessing. But in addition to the astoundingly amazing experience of growing a human inside of you, pregnancy also comes with a weird array of side effects — weird cravings, strange skin reactions and accumulating hair in places you didn’t think hair grew. Adele knows all about the latter, as she announced to thousands of fans at a Glasgow concert.

Stray Strands: The Hair Look Fashion Magazines Are Loving for Their Cover Girls

Mar/15/2016 at 06:05 PM ET

Fashion magazine covers can kickstart a model’s career or ignite a national conversation (about important issues even bigger than, yes, photoshop). But we’ve noticed that there is a micro beauty trend worth talking about on covers recently: A few hair strands on some of our fave cover girls have gone rogue! Has everyone gone a little too wild with the wind machine, or are these some of the most commendably natural cover looks out there right now? After all, don’t we all have wisps of hair that can’t be tamed? Read More

Adele Says 'Goodbye' to Black in Flowy Red Gown on the 2016 Brit Awards Red Carpet

Feb/24/2016 at 03:13 PM ET

Adele may be the master of the major impression. Whether it’s going off the grid for five years only to re-emerge and drop one of the biggest albums of all time, stunning audiences night after night with her powerhouse voice, or rolling up to the red carpet in a statement-making Giambattista Valli gown unlike any we’ve seen on her so far this awards season, she never does things halfway.

Adele may be loved by most for her killer vocal strength, but in the beauty world, we’re also big fans of her signature cat-eye liner look. And while the singer tends to keep most aspects of her personal life private, including her beauty routine, her makeup artist, Michael Ashton, is opening up about the origin of the singer’s feline flick and how it’s undoubtedly become her go-to makeup move over the years.

Grammys 2016: Our Favorite Looks of the Night

Feb/16/2016 at 09:00 AM ET

The Grammys red carpet is always filled with style and beauty surprises. And this year was no different. From the looks that gave us fashion flashbacks to the bold dude fashion choices, there’s a lot to process. And while you do, take a look at which outfits nabbed PeopleStyle editors’ top honors.

Emily Kirkpatrick, Associate Style News Editor: Bella Hadid made her couple red carpet debut with The Weeknd at the Grammys, channeling a touch of Morticia Addams in this shimmering black dress. But her stick straight hair paired with the plunging neckline and column silhouette made the teen model look surprisingly sophisticated, elegant, and wise beyond her 19 years.

Sarah Kinonen, Style & Beauty Editorial Assistant: Giuliana Rancic may have hated on Florence Welsh’s Gucci gown early on in the show, but I happen to think the Florence + the Machine singer’s whimsical starry motif number is a nice change-up from the traditional red carpet ensembles we’ve come to expect (read: tight, skin-baring designs with a whole lot of leg). And, plus, that dress with her gorgeous fiery, flowing strands make for one epic color combo.

Brittany Talarico, Senior Style News Editor: Selena hit the Grammys red carpet with one goal: Slay the style competition (and Justin Bieber’s heart). I think she succeeded at both. The star’s custom Calvin Klein Collection gown made jaws drop from every angle and it checked off all the requirements for a Grammys dress: sexy silhouette, sequin details and skin-baring cutouts.

Alex Apatoff, Deputy Style Director: Kylie Lip Kit mouth or no, Kacey got my top props for having a little fun on the red carpet on a night when everyone seemed to be inspired by Elvira. Her Armani Privé gown with its feathery texture and jewel-toned color gradients was light, sweet and cheerful and she offset all that sugar with a dramatic beauty look. Kacey, you’re “Pageant Material” in my book.

Catherine Kast, Style Editor: It’s hard to stand out in a black dress—especially when there were scores of them on the red carpet— but Adele’s custom Givenchy Haute Couture piece felt special to me. It lacked the dramatic display of, ahem, goodies that we saw with the night’s other gowns, but I appreciated the subtle nod to the Grammys’ standard skimpiness by way of tiny shoulder cutouts. And fun fact: This was the singer’s first time wearing Givenchy! Hopefully it’s a sign she’ll work with the brand on risk-taking looks in the future.
