Katie Holmes and Suri Cruise Model Matching Holmes-Yang Dresses

Fame

Katie Holmes is bringing her premium designer collection to the East Coast! The star, who has teamed up with her stylist Jeanne Yang to design a high-end women’s and children’s clothing line, stepped out in Boston this weekend in a red-hot dress from her Holmes & Yang line. While we have seen Katie rocking her own designs on the red carpet, first for the Tropic of Thunder movie premiere and then at her Broadway debut, this is our first peek at her children’s line — and who better to show it off than her equally fashionable daughter Suri Cruise? Mother and daughter each put their own spin on their fiery frocks. Katie adds tough boots and a black blazer, while Suri’s look is completed with leggings and sweet Mary Janes. Katie and Suri’s dresses are available exclusively at Maxfield by special order (call (310) 274-8800 to order) and both come in navy or cream as well as red.

Courteney Cox and David Arquette Expand Their Charity Jewelry Collection

Jason Kempin/WireImage

Courteney Cox and David Arquette have headed back to the design studio just in time for the holidays. The husband-and-wife design team have been working with Satya Jewelry since 2007 on a collection of butterfly-inspired jewels to benefit the EB Medical Research Foundation, a cause close to the Arquettes’ hearts. “There is a beautiful child named Brendon, the son of one of our dear friends, Andrea Pett Joseph, who was born with Epidermolysis Bullosa or EB [a rare skin disease],” David tells Vogue.com. “We were not aware of the condition until it affected us personally but, of course, once we got to know this incredible child we wanted to do whatever we could to help.” Since the launch of their EB jewelry collection, the Arquettes and Satya Jewelry have raised over $200,000 to benefit EBMRF. For this upcoming holiday season, David and Courteney have added three new pieces to their collection, including a new butterfly pendant, a new “hope” pendant and an onyx, blue topaz and turquoise bracelet with a sterling silver charm. The collection ranges from $38-$68, with 100% of the proceeds benefiting the EBMRF. Click here to shop Courteney and David’s EB collection for Satya Jewelry.

Joel Madden: “I Love Nicole’s Style!”

Sara De Boer/Startraks

Nicole Richie’s new contemporary clothing line Winter Kate doesn’t debut until February but she’s already got one customer lined up: boyfriend Joel Madden. “Her clothing line is what she wears — bohemian rock and roll, hippie, sexy and comfortable clothes for women. It’s cool, but it’s not forced.” And he’s not just a fan of the line. “I love Nicole’s style. She’s the coolest person I’ve ever met, and she doesn’t try at all,” he told PEOPLE recently as Nicole listened on with a proud smile, “Thanks, honey!” she replied. “I designed everything and picked the materials and prints. I put my heart and soul into it.” Read more about the line, which is named after the couple’s 21-month old daughter Harlow Winter Kate Madden, here.–Lisa Ingrassia

Should Michelle Obama Wear She by Sheree?

Joyce Boghosian-The White House/Landov; Sonia Mosk

Bravo’s Senior Vice President of Original Programming and Development and newest late night talk show host Andy Cohen admits that he’s “obsessed” with She By Sheree, the fashion line from The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Sheree Whitfield. “It is the greatest name for a fashion line ever,” Cohen told PEOPLE at the recent Fashion Group International Night of Stars at Cipriani Wall Street, where he and BRAVO executive Francis Berwick were honored with a Fashion Oracle Award. “I can’t stop talking about it. I’ve done 14 episodes of Watch What Happens:Live! and every episode, I ask people, ‘Are you wearing She by Sheree?’” In fact, Cohen is pushing for the line to make it into the First Lady’s wardrobe. “I had Michelle Obama’s hairdresser Johnny Wright on last week,” he tells us. “And I said, ‘What is it going to take to get the First Lady into a She by Sheree frock?’ And he said that he’s anxiously awaiting what the line presents to see. He said if Sheree creates something great, maybe it will happen. So tonight,” Cohen said. “I’m really pushing for the first lady to wear She by Sheree!’” And while She by Sheree debuted on last month during New York Fashion Week, everyone got a taste of She by Sheree on last week’s season finale of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. Tell us: Do you think Michelle Obama should wear She by Sheree? Vote! Jeffrey Slonim

Heidi Klum Turns Shoe and Clothing Designer!

Landov

Looks like six seasons as the host of Project Runway has inspired Heidi Klum to turn designer. The supermodel has joined forces with Modern Vintage and Majestic Mills co-founders Rick and Brian Cytrynbaum to create a lifestyle collection that will include footwear, dresses, swimwear and activewear, reports WWD. And when Heidi was searching for inspiration, she looked no further than her own glamorous closet. That’s inspiration enough for us! “It’s feminine with a bit of a fashion and rock ‘n’ roll edge,” Brian Cytrynbaum tells WWD. Heidi’s 48-style shoe collection will be the first to hit stores in February 2010 and will include everything from sky-high stilettos to tall boots. And that’s not all: Heidi will also be releasing a maternity collection the same month! We can’t wait to see what the supermodel has in store for us. Stay tuned for more details. Tell us: Are you excited for Heidi’s shoe and clothing collection?
