Ashley Greene on Her Last-Minute Premiere Look: “We Had to Start From Scratch”

Ramey

Twilight’s Ashley Greene might have looked red-hot at last night’s L.A. premiere of the film series’ latest installment, New Moon, but she tells PEOPLE that finding her perfect scarlet Prabal Gurung stunner was no small matter. “We picked a dress out, had it ready,” Ashley says of a different look, which she originally chose with her stylist. But at the last minute, “I decided I didn’t like it and we had to start from scratch.” Just how down to the wire did it get? “I stopped by the tailors right before I got here to pick up the dress,” she admits. The rest of her red-carpet prep, however, was less of an ordeal. For two hours on the Sunday before the premiere, Ashley received eyelash extensions from expert Calma Yom at The Parlour on 3rd and then returned to the salon to have her hair extensions freshened up the following day. As for her bronzed skin, Ashley looked to St. Tropez tanning expert Fiona Locke, who customized and contoured her skin before the big event. The final touch came at the hands of makeup artist Vanessa Scali, who created the ’60s-inspired look for the Twilight star with “well-defined eyes with lots of lashes, a strong brow and clean skin with subtle pink [and] coral cheeks and lips.” Tell us: What did you think of Ashley’s head-to toe premiere style last night? –additional reporting by Lisa Ingrassia

SPF Just Got Funny — Will Ferrell Launches His Own Sunscreen Line For Charity

Cancer for College

Paris Hilton hawks stilettos, Eva Mendes designs sheets, and Jessica Simpson’s business empire includes everything from fragrance to luggage. But who’s to say that only Hollywood’s ladies get to have their own product lines? Will Ferrell is the next celeb to jump into the branding game by stripping down and greasing up for summer with a signature sunscreen collection. Taking the adage “sex sells” to heart, Will’s three SPF 30 lotions — in Sun Stroke, Sexy Hot Tan and Forbidden Fruit — feature glamour shots of the comedian in various states of undress. 100% of proceeds from Will Ferrell Sunscreen will benefit the charity Cancer for College’s College Willpowered Scholarship Fund, which grants college scholarships to cancer survivors and amputees. As for why he chose to continue his long-time support of the charity with sunscreen, Will explains, “I’ve always dreamed of owning a lotion company. And I’ve always hated cancer.” Click to learn more about Cancer for College and how you can make a needed difference for aspiring college students whose lives have been devastated by the physical and financial toll of the disease. Then get beach-ready by purchasing the lotions, which start at $12 each, on the charity’s website, eBay.com, or Amazon.com.

Kim Kardashian Blogs About Her Skin Saver

Winslow/Prahl/Splash News Online

When Kim Kardashian hit Mexico’s sandy beaches this past week she sizzled — quite literally. Suffering a nasty sunburn on her face and body after falling asleep in the sun, the star posted images of her post-sun visage on Twitter. And today Kim is sharing how she found relief on her blog with her favorite new product, Kiehl’s Anti-Oxidant Skin Preserver. “This face cream saved my life!” she writes. “It is the only thing that calmed down my sunburn and healed my skin!” And she learned a lesson about the dangers of the sun exposure as well. “Having this sunburn was the biggest wake up call for me,” she says. “I realized how damaging sun is and how important it is to take care of your skin.”

EXCLUSIVE FIRST LOOK: Lindsay Lohan’s Spray Tan Campaign

Courtesy Sevin Nyne

You might have to wait for the spring launch of Lindsay Lohan’s much-anticipated spray tan line, but the actress is giving PEOPLE.com readers an exclusive sneak peek at one of Sevin Nyne’s sexiest campaign images. The star, who last year branched out from acting with a successful line of leggings, is known for her ever-present bronze glow, which she shows off to full effect in the ad. And the quest for a perfect fake bake is precisely what led her to create her own. “As much as I love the sun,” she says, “it is so bad for your skin. I have tried every product on the market and never found something that I loved.” Until, that is, she met spray tanner Lorit Simon. “She had an amazing tanning formula that over the years we continued to perfect,” Lindsay reveals of the partnership. “It was important to me to have a natural product that didn’t have a lot of dyes and chemicals. Our product has goji berry extract which has antioxidant properties, it has a natural golden color, it doesn’t streak and smells delicious — not like a typical tanning product.” The $35 spray will become available exclusively in Sephora stores on the first of May — with an early web launch on Sephora.com on April 15. Check out more of Lindsay talking about the line on her MySpace page later today. Tell us: What do you think of Lindsay’s sexy new ads? Will you try out Sevin Nyne when it lauches?

When Fergie hits the stage to perform for hours in the hot sun, she makes sure to slather herself with Kinerase Lotion with SPF 30. The high-tech sunscreen-moisturizer combo contains kinetin to help skin retain moisture, plump up little lines and fade hyperpigmentation. It also has a special delivery system that allows the sunscreen to penetrate deeper into the skin than traditional sun protectors, so it absorbs easily and doesn’t look or feel greasy.
