Jennifer Aniston: We All Want Somebody Else’s Hair

We’d have thought Jennifer Aniston could do pretty much anything with her hair, but it turns out even the world’s most enviable mane has its limits.

“We all want somebody else’s hair,” Aniston told PEOPLE at an N.Y.C. Living Proof event, citing Gisele Bündchen as the star whose tresses she envies, and adding “I also love Kate Moss‘s hair. It’s that rolled-out-of-bed look. Somehow she can wear a couture dress and just have that. I’ve tried to do that but it doesn’t work.”

Aniston adds that no matter how many times she asks her longtime stylist Chris McMillan to give her that hair, “he’ll do whatever he wants to do.” That’s why — even though she takes care of it with Living Proof’s Restore mask, and she’ll go anywhere to get it washed — only McMillan is allowed to go near it with scissors.

And we can’t say that we blame her for being a little paranoid, considering some of the past disasters she tells us she’s had to contend with. As a kid, “I’d only had mullets! Or those haircuts when you were a kid and you’d get those crazy, like, long at the front and shaved at the back,” she says. “Oh, I just learned so many lessons from my youth of what not to do.”

Well, okay, Miley Cyrus, but a close second seems to be Kerry Washington.

Jordin Sparks Has Bangs! What Do You Think?

May/09/2013 at 11:05 AM ET

Jordin Sparks has gone where few curly girls dare to go: She’s cut some brand-new bangs.

She debuted her cute new cut at an N.Y.C. event for a Crystal Light-sponsored world’s largest game of Words With Friends, wearing them with an appropriately sassy ensemble consisting of liquid leggings, a coral top and leopard-print cropped jacket (weekend outfit inspiration?)

While we’ve been skeptical about other celebrities’ new fringe in the past, this cut seems like the real deal: It’s choppy and wavy, and appears to be her natural texture, just blown out.

We are absolutely loving the look on Sparks — and judging by that big smile, she is too — but we’re going to want a report back from the star in a few weeks after she’s encountered the deadly combination of curly bangs plus humidity.

Exclusive First Look: Kate Moss Gets Naked for St. Tropez

No tan lines here!

Supermodel (and the new face — and body — of St. Tropez self-tanning products!) Kate Moss bares all to give you an idea of just how well the line works.

“I’m so excited to be working with St. Tropez,” Moss says in a statement. “I’ve been using the products since they started and it’s really a trustworthy, cool brand.”

And she shows just how trustworthy by stripping down without a second thought for her first ad campaign images. St. Tropez’s skincare guru Nichola Joss dished on just how easy the bold shoot was.

“She surrounds herself with people she comfortable with, so it was easy to work with her and yeah, she was basically naked,” Joss tells PEOPLE. “Because she’s comfortable in that environment, there’s no confidence issues which is great.”

To make sure she radiated “color [and] poolside glamour” during the shoot (check out the exclusive behind-the-scenes shot, above) Joss did a multi-step tanning process on the model.

“We did a lymphatic massage and exfoliated her whole body and used a great moisturizer to prep her skin so it was ready for the tan,” she says. “I then sprayed her all over with St. Tropez original formula in the machine. She slept in it and the next day I did a few skin finishing touch-ups and she was ready.”

Once on set, Moss “loved it! She felt even more sexy than [we thought possible],” Joss shares, adding that music was cranking throughout the shoot, from “Primal Scream to Rolling Stones, with a bit of Donna Summer in the afternoon to keep our energy up.”

And though Moss had Joss on hand to contour her body with the line’s tanner and bronzer, Joss says the results aren’t so hard to replicate without a professional nearby.

“You can get the same results at home with the mousse and the tanning mitt,” Joss tells PEOPLE. “You have to prep the skin and afterwards you have to massage moisturizer in every day to keep it fresh and it’ll fade more evenly.”

And Joss sums up why the whole St. Tropez team is so excited to have Moss on board: “She’s easy, professional, she’s amazing on and offscreen. She has a unique charisma; you can’t help but love her!”

On the heels of two major Hollywood hair color changes, Carly Rae Jepsen followed Anne Hathway and Demi Lovato’s lead and lightened up her locks. But instead of going blonde, the “Call Me Maybe” singer went red!

“I always wanted to go red!” Jepsen Tweeted on Tuesday along with a flirty photo showing off her rich new shade in a half-up do. (Not to worry, she hasn’t changed up those signature blunt bangs.)

Jepsen’s Instagram followers might remember that she hinted at a big hair color change back in November. After posing with a redheaded fan, she posted a photo of the two of them to Instagram and wrote, “Loving her red hair…. Might have to dye mine someday soon?????!!!!”

Her fans seem glad she decided to do it. She received Tweets like, “im obsesssssed with @carlyraejepsen new red hair!!” and a ton more equally enthusiastic messages.

We want to know what you think: Do you prefer Carly Rae Jepsen as a brunette or are you loving her new red hair?

Nina Dobrev Shares Her Secret Skincare Weapons

We’ve already made it pretty clear that we covet Nina Dobrev’s closet, but there’s something else of hers that we want: her complexion. So we caught up with the star and asked her how to get such flawless skin.

Her first rule: Go organic.

“I honestly believe it’s important not to put chemicals in your body and keep it as pure as possible,” Nina tells PEOPLE at the N.Y.C. launch of Origins new GinZing line.

Her other tip has to do not just with what she puts on her face, but how diligent she is about taking other stuff off it. “You really need to take off your makeup, and let your skin breathe sometimes.” And that means not getting lazy about it, even when traveling.

“I always have makeup wipes and moisturizer when I fly,” she explains. “I take all my makeup off and lather on Origins GinZing moisturizer. It actually revives your face within seconds. I can’t even describe it.” (Mental note to crib her flying routine before our next trip.)

Carrie Ann Inaba’s ‘DWTS’ Blog: My Dress Was So Hot, It Made Me Wish I’d Lined Up a Date!

May/08/2013 at 04:35 PM ET

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba joins us again to blog about her style (and all the backstage scoop) on the show’s 16th season. This week, she talks about the sexy dress that made her wish she had a date night planned — and sending her jewels flying into the audience.

What an incredible night in the ballroom. The number Derek choreographed based on the late Fred Astaire’s incredible genius was so impressive. It’s exciting to see such innovative choreography, even though the idea was borrowed. It’s a reinvention and that is what happens with art.

What was impressive is that it didn’t feel like a second rate version of a classic. Instead, it felt like a wonderful unique piece of art that will stand the test of time. I haven’t been that impressed since his Paso Doble the night before!

That was just a little reminder to my judging friend Len Goodman … who I still say robbed them of a perfect 30. But I still love him and respect him. We are all there for different reasons, and a little argument here and there never hurt anyone.
