Beyoncé’s Manicurist: She Painted Her Nails Blue for Blue Ivy

She’s taken two nights off from new mommyhood this week to support hubby Jay-Z, but Beyoncé needn’t look further than her fingernails to be reminded of the new girl running the world these days: daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

“You see the blue nails. You see the IV tattoo on her finger. It’s clear that she was bringing Blue along with her because she doesn’t want to be away from her for a second,” Beyoncé’s longtime manicurist, Lisa Logan, tells PEOPLE of her Monday manicure.

Logan, who painted the singer’s fingernails with Nails Inc.’s new “Baker Street” polish (the star accented the look with a two-finger ring by Bing Bang for WeSC), says the whole experience felt serendipitous. “I don’t roll with less than 200 bottles of polish on any given day,” she explains. “When I pulled all of my colors out, [Baker Street] and two other colors were sitting at the top of the pile, and [Beyoncé] said, ‘I want this!’ She didn’t even look or blink at the other colors. She was like, ‘Oh no, I want this,’” Logan recalls. “Ironically, when I came in, the first thing she asked me for was Minx. I always have Minx nails, [but] this was the one day I didn’t have them on me!”

The Secret Behind Model Chrissy Teigen’s Gorgeous Gams

Model Chrissy Teigen has had more than her share of painful razor cuts. “I go very fast, I’m often shaving on the go,” she tells PEOPLE. “I shave twice a day — I have dark hair, I have to — and I’m doing it so often that I want to feel smooth, not dry.”

Though she’s been guilty of using men’s razors — stealing her dad’s blades when she was younger, and swiping fiancé John Legend‘s Gillettes from time to time — the Sports Illustrated stunner is now enjoying smoother, softer shaves thanks to the new Venus & Olay razor, the official razor of SI‘s upcoming Swimsuit Issue.

“It’s the first beauty partnership for SI,” Teigen explains. “We’re constantly thrown different beauty products and things people want us to take photos with, but it’s not fun unless it’s something you really believe in.” As part of the partnership, Teigen will star in upcoming beauty-related websiodes on si.com in conjunction with the Swimsuit Issue’s release.

Padma Lakshmi Credits Boxing, Sweating for Her Flawless Skin

She’s sampled chili, pancakes and a whole lot of steak on this season’s Top Chef, but Padma Lakshmi is miraculously avoiding weight gain and breakouts. How? By boxing. “A poet introduced me to it,” she tells PEOPLE of the sport, which she’s practiced for 10 years. “I just found it was a great workout, very gratifying.”

Lakshmi — who hits the gym two to three times per week with a trainer, and uses the speed bag, jumps rope and does calisthenics — credits boxing with her trim figure, as well as her glowing skin. “I think that sweating a lot and getting your circulation going influences your skin a lot, and helps everything rejuvenate itself,” she shares. (Regular facials, some Shiseido foaming face wash and a light moisturizer help, too.)

The former model showcases that skin — and her best boxing form — in Danskin’s “Move for Change” campaign, which also features Hilary Duff, Jenny McCarthy and Christie Brinkley. “The photo shoot was great,” she says. “It turned out to be a fun day.”

Do You Like Rachel McAdams’s New Bangs?

It’s officially a trend! Rachel McAdams is the latest star to add bangs to her hairstyle, debuting the look at the Los Angeles premiere of The Vow (sponsored by Ralph Lauren Romance) Monday night. The star stepped out in a sky-blue Vivienne Westwood dress and glimmering jewels, complementing her look with smoky eyes, red lips and her new blonde bangs.

McAdams joins a growing list of leading ladies who’ve added bangs to their hair recently, including Jessica Biel, Rose Byrne, Cameron Diaz (sometimes), Olivia Wilde, Kim Kardashian (who tried clip-ons) and Reese Witherspoon, who cut them to cover a forehead scar. Kelly Clarkson rocked them during the Super Bowl, and Sarah Michelle Gellar added a few face-framing bangs recently, as well.

We think McAdams always looks lovely, but want to hear your thoughts.

Naomi Campbell: I’m No Supermodel

Naomi Campbell Diet Secrets
Courtesy Harper’s Bazaar

She recently headlined a Duran Duran music video and still gets booked to walk the most coveted runways, but Naomi Campbell says there’s nothing ‘super’ about her storied career.

“I would never call myself that,” she says of the term ‘supermodel’ in the March issue of Harper’s Bazaar. “I don’t have any superhuman powers.”

To that end, the 41-year-old works hard to maintain her famous figure. “For me, carbs are a treat now,” she says, admitting to doing “everything I can to keep my skin elasticated.” (While speaking with Oprah Winfrey in 2010 she confessed to going on 18-day cleanses and jumping rope to keep her face lean.)

“I still love what I do,” she explains, but instead of ‘supermodel,’ she’s drawn to terms including “transformation, reinvention, and chameleon,” buzz words which demonstrate a marked departure from her mantra in the late ’90′s. “I never diet. I smoke. I drink now and then. I never work out. I work very hard and I am worth every cent,” she infamously told Playboy in 1999. Read more on Campbell at harpersbazaar.com/naomi and in the latest issue of Harper’s Bazaar.

Katy Perry Goes Under the Sea in New Beauty Campaign

Katy Perry GHDDavid LaChapelle for GHD

It wasn’t just about planking; Katy Perry‘s recent stint as a mermaid had to do with her latest series of ads for haircare line ghd. The singer channels Little Mermaid Ariel in her new U.K.-only campaign, (ironically) advertising a hair dryer from below sea level.

“I love it because I’m such a fan of the Disney movies,” the newly single star says of her campaign, shot by David LaChapelle. “Ariel is such a big influence. It’s always fun to dress up once in your lifetime as a mermaid and have that fish fin tail.”

The glimmering “tail” Perry wears in the photos was custom-made by a Dubai-based designer, but the singer’s favorite part of the look seemed to be wearing the lavender wig. “It was fun,” the blue-haired star shares. “It’s as if Lisa Frank had done The Little Mermaid.”

So should we expect to see Perry — who explored past decades in her last round of ads — donning a mermaid costume on her next tour? “I would wear it again,” she says. “I actually thought about wearing it for Halloween.” Tell us: What do you think of Perry’s aquatic ad?
