Is this product wacky? Yes. Were we hesitant to try it at first? Yep. Is it like nothing else we’ve ever put in our shower? Uh-huh. But are we really glad we finally decided to test it out? Absolutely. Check out why we love this foot scrubber so much (no callouses! soft skin! no using our body pouf on the bottoms of our feet, which is totally gross!). And make sure to use our exclusive discount when you pick up one of the FootMates for yourself.
We know, we know, it’s weird and seems like the kind of thing your aunt might buy from an infomercial, but take it from us: This product is so worth it. And after you realize how soft and smooth and callous-free your feet are after using it a few times, you’ll be glad you ordered one.
Don’t forget to enter STYLE15 at checkout for an extra 15% off (if you’re a first-time Joyus shopper). And while you’re at it, why not order these fun peep-toe wedges to show off your soon-to-be-flawless feet?

For an actress who’s had plenty of “Wow” moments on the red carpet and who has been the face of Lancôme for seven years, Kate Winslet insists that her life is everything but glam-centric. For one thing, she hasn’t had a manicure in months.
“I know it sounds very self-effacing because people say, ‘Oh you’re a film star. People probably come to your house to do it,'” the star says in the June/July issue of Harper’s Bazaar, her first cover since giving birth to son Bear Blaze in December. “But I don’t have the time to get my nails done apart from when I’m doing a photo shoot.”
And when she’s not hitting the carpet in figure-hugging gowns, Winslet’s uniform is a black blazer and Rag & Bone jeans. “They’re great, because I’m not quite back into my pre-pregnancy jeans,” she tells the mag.
Right now, the new mom quietly resides in Chichester, just south of London, and has no qualms with walking to a café with a girlfriend and baby Bear strapped to her chest.
In fact, it seems Winslet goes out of her way to avoid the trappings of an A-lister. Winslet’s marriage to Richard Branson’s nephew Ned Rocknroll is largely a mystery to fans. “Nobody knows him — it’s brilliant,” she says. “They like to think they know him. They like to be judgmental because of his name and everything, but it’s fabulous because no one knows anything about him.”

The Divergent star turns 40 next year, and says she doesn’t live in fear of frown lines. “I’m quite excited about it actually. I really enjoy getting older. You just don’t worry as much.”
But it’s her gig with Lancôme that will definitely help with the aging process — she’s marketing their latest wrinkle fighter, Rénergie French Lift: “Working with them does a huge amount for my self esteem, I’ve got to tell you.”
For more on Winslet’s latest projects, visit Harpersbazaar.com or pick up the June/July issue, on stands May 27. And tell us: Do you share Winslet’s attitude on aging? How about manis?

We’ve spent a lot of time talking about Lupita Nyong’o’s clothes, makeup and hair (like, a lot of time), but somehow we’ve managed to overlook one major style choice the star’s been making: Her nail color. Far from having one favorite polish and sticking to it, the Oscar winner experiments with a fun new shade nearly every time she’s on a red carpet. Most recently, before Thursday night’s Calvin Klein Women in Film party in Cannes, she posted a shot of her perfectly polished French mani (below) with the caption “When in France…”

What tops most girls to-do lists the minute they get engaged? Hitting the nail salon for the perfect mani to match their new bling, of course. Jenny McCarthy, who just announced her engagement to Donnie Wahlberg Wednesday, made sure her tips were freshly painted — though no nail art could distract us from that new mega-carat engagement ring sitting pretty on her left hand.
The View co-host shared her exciting news on air while showing off her sparkler to the other hosts. “It’s a yellow sapphire,” she said of the bauble, which looks to be 5-plus carats (if we had to guess) and is surrounded by a halo of diamonds. (Get an up-close look at the bauble — and her hot-pink Sally Hansen manicure — above.) Read More

By now you’ve already seen all the gorgeous gowns from Sunday’s ACM Awards, so it’s time to talk about the most buzzworthy beauty moments. Let’s start with Carrie Underwood‘s amazing side-swept waves, because, well, they’re amazing.
We were so enamored of Underwood’s old Hollywood-inspired tresses, we had to get some more insight straight from her makeup artist and hair stylist of nine years, Melissa Schleicher. You may not have noticed, but the first step to her look was a subtle color change.
“Her hair is a bit darker now,” Schleicher explains. “She’s naturally blonde in the roots, and we hadn’t highlighted her hair in seven months — we just let it go. And then I took her to the salon, darkened her hair a shade and lightened the ends quite a bit for an ombré look.” Read More
