Justin Timberlake Fronting Two Givenchy Fragrances; Not Creating His Own

Getty

While Justin Timberlake’s face has graced the ad campaigns for Parfums Givenchy men’s fragrances, Play and Play Intense, in Europe for almost a year, don’t count on him launching his own signature scent anytime soon. WWD caught up with the multi-tasking superstar who says “there’s some level of narcissism you have to put in check” to do one. So while we won’t get to see Justin bringing sexy back for his own sake, his Givenchy fragrance campaign will be launching stateside this fall. The ads for Play and Play Intense, shot by Tom Munro, will break in September fashion, beauty and lifestyle magazines — and we can’t wait! And even though the rest of Hollywood seemingly jumps into the fragrance business, Justin is content just fronting the campaigns — for now. “I don’t know that I would be completely comfortable with a my-name fragrance,” he tells WWD. “It feels like cheating, almost. It doesn’t seem like you’re creating anything.” But don’t rule out a more personal fragrance from Timberlake. “I could see doing a William Rast fragrance, but that’s as far as I think I’ll take it.” Check out more of what Justin had to say in today’s WWD and be on the look out for his Givenchy ads come fall. Tell us: Are you excited to see Justin’s sexy Givenchy ads?

Ever wondered what a fragrance launch looks like inside? Demi Moore took to her Twitter page last night to keep her fans updated on her newest ad campaign for Helena Rubinstein, which just happened to launch in Paris. Not only did she give major props to the young designer of her feathered dress, “Wonderful young designer to look out for Prabal Gurung!” but she supplied the photos of her inside a van on the way to the event and, of course, the event itself. While Demi is just the face of Helena Rubinstein, she did give all of us hope that her own signature fragrance would be a reality some day, responding to Twitter queries on the topic with “Hopefully soon this one is by Helena Rubinstein.” We love getting an inside sneak peek — thanks, Demi!

Adriana Lima on Finding Love and Getting Fit in the Ring

Amanda Schwab/Startraks

Manhattan sizzled this Saturday, as Brazilian supermodel Adriana Lima hit Victoria’s Secret to launch the brand’s sexy new scent collection. Dressed as a modern day Cleopatra, the newlywed lounged in a boudoir setting, and talked to PEOPLE.com about the quest for love and her secrets for supermodel beauty. “I never thought I would find somebody so great in my life,” she says of her basketball star husband, Marko Jaric, whom she married this past Valentine’s Day. “These days it’s so tough, you know? And I consider myself very lucky, very lucky to have such a wonderful man that respects me and treats me like a princess.” And while Adriana has been a Victoria’s Secret Angel since 2000, she is thrilled to expand into beauty with the brand as the face of their new fruity floral scent Noir. “Fragrance for me, it’s so important,” she explains. “It sets up my mood. Part of my confidence comes from perfume. Before a fashion show I always have it in my handbag. Before I walk out I put it on. When I do commercials for Victoria’s Secret I put on my perfume. It’s really part of me. I can’t live without it.” And the supermodel shared her surprising secret to staying a knock-out — literally! “Boxing! It’s my favorite thing to do because it’s always exciting. It’s the best type of cardio that you can do. And you build up muscles without being too big, just lean muscles.” And while the sport might seem at odds with her ultra-feminine career, she says she’s finally found the perfect fit. “I tried everything,” she says. ” I tried running, I took spin classes, I tried yoga. I needed something to challenge me so I learn new things every day, and boxing is the best!” Check out the Noir collection at victoriassecret.com now!
