Taylor Swift: My New Fragrance Embodies My Personality

Jun/13/2013 at 03:41 PM ET

She may be still looking for the man of her dreams, but when it comes to her latest project, Taylor Swift is all about reality.

Her new perfume Taylor by Taylor Swift – out this June – represents the girl behind the music according the the superstar. “For me, it’s sort of who I am and embodies my personality and my style,” Swift told PEOPLE of her third fragrance at the Fragrance Foundations Awards in NYC.

Swift’s prior scents Wonderstruck and Wonderstruck Enchanted were more of a “day-dreamy, romantic kind-of departure, in a kind of a dream land,” she stated.

But just as her albums evolve, so do her fragrances. “There’s been sort of a progression between fantasy and reality, and I think this perfume just really follows that progression.” Swift explained. “It would take place in my day-to-day life if that makes sense.”

So when it comes to a man, does Swift prefer cologne or au natural?

“I’d just prefer them to be good people,” she said. “I’ll start with that.”

The rumors are true! Robert Pattinson will test out his modeling skills as the new celebrity face of Dior Homme fragrance.

“We are excited to announce that he will join the privileged circle of Dior faces,” the label said in a statement Wednesday. Those Dior faces include Marion Cotillard, Jennifer Lawrence, Mila Kunis and Jude Law among others.

We’re already itching to see what the newly-single actor will look like in his debut ad. (Our money is on a brooding stare, but our guess is as good as yours when it comes to whether he’ll be shirtless or covered up.)

And we have one suggestion for the label: Bring in Pattinson as the sexy leading guy in J.Law’s next Miss Dior campaign. Okay, maybe not, but we can dream right?

Amanda Seyfried Is the New Face of Givenchy Fragrance

When Givenchy asked Amanda Seyfried if she’d like to be the face of their fragrances, it didn’t take her long to come up with an answer.

“F— yeah,” she told the Givenchy team, according to her interview in WWD.

The reason she was so enthusiastic: “It’s an honest collaboration,” she says. (No kidding: she’s attended the line’s fashion shows, worn its menswear and even performed in it at the Oscars.)

Seyfried says she’s proud of her partnerships with Clé de Peau and Givenchy because “what they do is really cool, especially Givenchy — they’re so artistic. And I feel like I have a foot in the fashion industry now.”

Givenchy is mutually admiring of Seyfried. “Amanda is a chic, sexy woman who is a perfect fit for Givenchy,” says Nicholas Munafo, U.S. president for LVMH Fragrance Brands.

Seyfried’s print ads for Very Irresistible Givenchy were styled by creative director Riccardo Tisci and will be in magazines in October; she also shot a TV campaign.

Olympic medalist. Reality show star. Fragrance entrepreneur?

Well, “jeah!” (TM), if the Funny or Die team has anything to say about it!

They filmed a faux commercial for Ryan Lochte’s “Pool Water” eau de toilette … with, well, a little more emphasis on the “toilette” than we’d care to think about.

If you’re tempted (like we often are) to watch all Ryan Lochte videos on mute (gorgeous guy, not so articulate), we recommend tuning into this one anyway, if only to hear the swimmer attempt to speak some French.
