Miley Cyrus's '23' Video: What She Saved on Fabric, She Spent on Jewelry

Sep/26/2013 at 03:42 PM ET

Miley Cyrus 23
You know how you have that $1,600 gold anklet and you just don’t know what in your closet to pair it with? Fortunately, Miley Cyrus is here to solve all your wardrobe dilemmas. In the very fashion-forward video for ’23,’ her collaboration with Mike WiLL Made-It (watch the whole thing below), she shows that the best way to style it is with a bikini made out of Michael Jordan’s Bulls jersey, spike heels and extra tongue exposure.

To be fair, the vintage Chanel charm bracelet isn’t strictly meant to be worn around your ankle — that’s a Cyrus touch. But if you’re sold on the look, you can purchase your own at Depuis 1924, which also provided Cyrus with several other accessories (like the $3,400 Chanel leather bangle seen above).

In the gym, you can spot Cyrus sporting a pair of $650 vintage Gianni Versace sunnies and an Hermès watch worth about $2,400. All in all, that’s $8,450 spent on four accessories alone — which we estimate is about $8,435 more than she had to spend on her outfit for this shoot.

How do you feel about Cyrus’s pricey pieces? Would you style them any differently?

Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel: Husband and Wife or ... Twins?

Sep/19/2013 at 02:19 PM ET

Last night, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake appeared to be very, um, in sync: The married couple wore totally matching suit ensembles to the premiere of Timberlake’s new movie, Runner Runner, in Las Vegas (see top left photo). And by totally matching, by the way, we mean totally matching: The two both chose to not get their full suit and tie on and opt for a tie-less look, and they also styled their hair in similar slicked-back ‘dos. They even wore matching black shiny shoes.

RELATED PHOTOS: Check out the best dressed stars of 2013 here!

They went straight for the twin win during London Fashion Week in February, too, as seen in the middle picture. Both of them sported silky blue blazers at the Tom Ford show and even posed with matching flutes of champers, leaving us no choice but to a) conclude that they must have had a “what should we wear and drink tonight” convo before the event and b) ask the universe why, oh why, we were not flies on the wall during that undoubtedly epic exchange.

And finally, it must be noted that Timberlake and Biel’s twinning approach is not limited to the red carpet — they also have matching street style, as evidenced in the top-right photo. The two are taking a downtown stroll through N.Y.C. basically looking like they popped out of the same womb in long jackets, jeans, sunglasses and black boots. Heck, even their strides match!

So, what’s our grand conclusion about JT and JB’s matchy-matchy style? We’re still not totally sure. But this much we know is true: The couple that dresses together, stays together.

What do you think about their matching ensembles? Do you think it’s cute or should they vary it up? Would you ever twin it up with your boyfriend?

From Date Night to Brunch, Exactly What to Wear This Weekend

There’s no denying it: It’s now one hundred percent fall. And with a little help from New York Fashion Week, we decided to fully embrace the seasonal switch rather than drown our sorrows in summer’s-over cocktails. And we want you to do the same — so we selected three fabulous fall outfits to help you make that happen.

Saturday night: Nothing says a night out on the town more than a cute skirt-and-shirt situation, and we love Kate Bosworth’s approach to this solid weekend staple. She pairs a cute, printed mini with a slightly looser black top and flats. And her aviators and gold over-the-shoulder bag complete the casual-but-chic look.

Want to rock Bosworth’s ensemble yourself? Start with a printed skirt like this one from bebe — it’s only $39! Then add this flowy black top from American Eagle, which is on sale for $22.46 (down from $29.95). Top with your fave aviators and go-to gold bag, and most importantly, have a fun night!

Can We Please Discuss These Ridiculous '90s Accessories?

Sep/05/2013 at 03:37 PM ET

Introducing a new hash tag: #NSFFW. No, it’s not “Not Safe For Freakin’ Work” — it’s “Not Safe For Fashion Week,” and we’d like to grace these two photos with the new tag ASAP.

Let’s begin with the usually-lovely Jennifer Lopez. We get that the ’90s are back, we really do. But just because Stephanie Tanner’s favorite hair accessory is now apparently acceptable does not mean that it’s any less shocking when we actually see them in the wild.

Sure, the star is pairing hers with modern-day red lips, aviators and a stylish black top. But still. All of the chicness in the world simply cannot compensate for the fact that she is wearing a strategically-placed piece of rainbow-bright headgear on top of her mane. And that is all anyone is going to remember about this photo.

Moving on to Rihanna‘s hoops. Or, shall we say, hula hoops, because small child at a Bat Mitzvah could definitely fit in one of those things. To her credit, the singer, like J.Lo, does pair her ’90s flair with other, more contemporary style choices (bold red lip, form-fitting white tank), but she’s basically still hanging a humongous backyard toy from her ears.

And there’s nothing safe (for Fashion Week or otherwise) about that.

Tell us: What do you think of these over-the-top accessories?
