Satisfy Your Style Craving with Jenny McCarthy’s ‘Insatiable’ Shoe

“Even us MILFs want to look sexy,” Jenny McCarthy tells PEOPLE. “We might be falling over, but we’ll look hot falling over.” Such is the thinking behind the actress’s new “Insatiable” pump, a sexy black peep-toe created for ShoeDazzle.com as part of the site’s celebrity shoe design program for charity.

The Insatiable ($39.95) features stud detail, a pretty blue lining and a somewhat racy name. “I wanted something that just sounded kind of naughty, but still kind of fun and delicious,” McCarthy explains, adding, “It’s what I want my boyfriend to call me.”

Profits from sales of the shoe will benefit Generation Rescue, McCarthy’s charity for families who have children with autism. The organization provides support, guidance and medical assistance, and is active in 38 countries, according to the star. “We’ve been growing every year, and I’m excited about it,” says McCarthy, mom to a son who was once diagnosed with disorder.

Nicole Richie: I Don’t Feel Competitive with Other Celebrity Designers

With a rocker husband and pop-legend father, it’s not surprising to hear that Nicole Richie finds design inspiration in music.

“I went on tour with my husband, [Good Charlotte's Joel Madden], and I really wanted to focus on rock ‘n’ roll,” she tells Footwear News of her fall shoe collection. “I did that mostly through the color palette and beading. There are also some subtle skulls. It was important for me to keep the collection delicate looking, but with a little bit of an edge.”

In the interview, Richie says she’s thinking of growing her House of Harlow 1960 line into home furnishings, and possibly even footwear for kids. But “we are not expanding right now,” she insists. “It’s important for me to focus on every [existing] collection and make it the best version of itself.”

The reality star-turned-designer says she doesn’t put her name on her Winter Kate clothing and House of Harlow 1960 accessories because “it’s not about me,” she explains. “I want the product to speak for itself and have a customer go after it or stay away from it based on the product, not the name. That’s very important to me.”

Kick Off Your Heels for TOMS’ Annual ‘One Day Without Shoes’

Put the style statements aside for one day — we promise, it’s worth it. TOMS is bringing back its annual ‘One Day Without Shoes’ on Tuesday, April 10, asking people to go barefoot for a day, or hour or even a few minutes to raise awareness about the impact a pair of shoes can have on a child’s life.

According to the brand, which invented the ‘one for one’ idea (donating a pair of shoes to a needy child for each pair of shoes purchased), millions of kids grow up without footwear, increasing their risks of disease and infection. In 2011, more than 250,000 people went without shoes to show their support, with more than 1,000 barefoot events taking place globally.

WATCH: What Are Katy Perry and David Beckham Running From?

They’re two of the fittest stars around, and now it’s pretty clear why. Katy Perry and David Beckham pound the pavement — quickly! — in new ads for Adidas’s ClimaCool shoes.

The stars, joined by Bulls point guard Derrick Rose and Argentine soccer player Lionel Messi, go for runs in their hometowns in the latest spots, set to a remix of Perry’s single, “Part of Me.” Their colorful, ventilated shoes — designed to reduce foot temperature and in-shoe moisture during warm workouts — are available now on adidas.com for $100.

Beckham and Perry are longtime faces of the brand; he designed a capsule collection in 2009, while she opened up about her style icons in a spot for Adidas last year.
