We knew Nikki Reed had a creative side (she’s dabbled in jewelry design and sings with her husband, Paul McDonald), but now she’s bringing her bright ideas to an even bigger audience, thanks to her new partnership with 7 For All Mankind.

The star teamed up with the contemporary clothing line to create a five-piece capsule collection of her Mattlin Era jewels, inspired by 7 For All Mankind’s spring collection. “When they told me the inspiration for the line was love, it was an organic match,” Reed said in a statement. “Once I saw the collection the jewelry was to compliment, it immediately felt like a perfect fit.”

And she’s hitting the road to show off the pieces in person, stopping in Troy, Mi. and Orlando (above) in head to toe 7 For All Mankind to show off the collection in style.

But lest you think Reed just rolls out of bed looking that adorable, the actress exclusively shared with us some photos and behind-the-scenes scoop of her getting-ready routine (below) before her Orlando stop, where she accessorized her cute jeans and zipper blouse with pieces from the 7FAM x Nikki Reed collection, all under $100.

Clockwise from top right, she gives a little peek into how she gets ready far away from L.A. “My make-up artist, Fiona Stiles, always sends me on the road with some great make up tips,” she tells us. “I’m applying a Clinique chubby stick to finish this look off.”

Next up, the finishing touches on her makeup: “A little Dior mascara. Now I’ll just throw on my 7FAM x Nikki Reed ‘Humility’ necklace and ‘Storytelling’ bangles and I’m ready for Orlando.” (Ed. note: We spot the “Humility” earrings as well!)

And finally, because no good outfit is complete without a little flash, Reed slips into some bright pumps. “Love my orange Shoemint heels to pop some color into my 7 For All Mankind look!” she says.

She makes it look so easy! We’ll be trying to pull this off this weekend.

Carrie Ann Inaba’s ‘DWTS’ Blog: My Dress Was So Hot, It Made Me Wish I’d Lined Up a Date!

Dancing With the Stars judge Carrie Ann Inaba joins us again to blog about her style (and all the backstage scoop) on the show’s 16th season. This week, she talks about the sexy dress that made her wish she had a date night planned — and sending her jewels flying into the audience.

What an incredible night in the ballroom. The number Derek choreographed based on the late Fred Astaire’s incredible genius was so impressive. It’s exciting to see such innovative choreography, even though the idea was borrowed. It’s a reinvention and that is what happens with art.

What was impressive is that it didn’t feel like a second rate version of a classic. Instead, it felt like a wonderful unique piece of art that will stand the test of time. I haven’t been that impressed since his Paso Doble the night before!

That was just a little reminder to my judging friend Len Goodman … who I still say robbed them of a perfect 30. But I still love him and respect him. We are all there for different reasons, and a little argument here and there never hurt anyone.

Ever look at a major red carpet (like the Oscars, or Monday’s Met Gala) and think to yourself, “Gee, I’d love to buy that!”?

Well, you’re usually out of luck, because the outfits are frequently custom-made and fitted just for the lucky star wearing the look.

But this Met Gala was all about bucking tradition, and it’s done just that by providing plenty of outlets to pick up a few of your own choice designer duds — provided you’ve got the cash, of course.

Jessica Biel’s Met Gala Nose Ring: Should She Leave It In?

When we first saw Jessica Biel‘s outfit for the Met Gala, our first thought was that she belonged on our list of “Stars Who Punked Out.”

After all, her macramé Giambattista Valli Couture outfit was awfully sweet for such a tough-girl theme (Punk: Chaos to Couture).

But a closer look revealed that she added one bold accessory that took her look from princess to pretty punk: her delicate septum nose ring, which was the focus of a face with very little makeup.

We find it hard to believe that the wife of a former member of *NSYNC would go for a permanent nose piercing — though this would be the first we’re learning of clip-in septum jewelry — but it’s still a pretty bold statement from the star.

Style Rx: Kourtney Kardashian’s Outfit Blends the ’70s, ’90s … and 1590s

May/02/2013 at 06:00 PM ET

Kourtney Kardashian Greece outfit
Splash News Online

Who: Kourtney Kardashian

Where: In Greece with her family

Diagnosis: Has anyone seen Kardashian near Doc Brown or a DeLorean lately? Because her outfit is doing some major time-traveling, from the fringed, crocheted, tiered ’70s pants to the Saved by the Bell-era tied-up top … to the Medieval princess-style pointed, jeweled circlet.

RELATED PHOTOS: Vote on questionable star style in “Obsessed or Hot Mess?”

Prognosis: We actually love Kardashian’s “eclectic, effortless” style, but wearing fancy faux bangs on a boat is a little too much of the former and not enough the latter. We recommend keeping the cute tied chambray cover-up and pairing it with a relaxed striped mini (this one is less than $7!), then saving the pants and wacky topper for their respective decade costume parties.

You know that feeling of discovering an amazing, one-of-a-kind boutique on your travels and telling everyone you know about it?

That feeling can be a little hard to replicate on the Internet, but Molly Sims, Ali Fedotowsky and Padma Lakshmi are doing their best, supporting their favorite small businesses on social retail site OpenSky.com.

Among Sims’s favorite independent shops on the site include Indie Lee body scrubs and Fiona Paxton jewelry (you can see her wearing the line’s earrings in the pic above). “She’s seriously talented!” Sims tells PEOPLE. “I’ve been catching her designs in all the fashion mags lately and knew I had to get my hands on some of her pieces.”
