Exclusive Details: Kevin Jonas’s Engagement Ring for Danielle Deleasa Revealed!

When Kevin Jonas asked his girlfriend Danielle Deleasa to marry him early Wednesday morning, she was too stunned to notice the one-of-a-kind diamond ring he designed for her. “I didn’t see the ring for a while because I couldn’t believe what he just asked me,” Deleasa told PEOPLE. “I was looking at him, like “Are you serious? When he pulled out that ring, I was like ‘Oh gosh.’ I said something like ‘Oh my God,’ and then I started crying.” But once she wiped away her tears of joy — and said yes over and over again — what she saw before her was a three-carat cushion-cut diamond set in platinum above double shank band with 210 round pave diamonds (pictured here), according to Angela Arabo, Jacob & Co vice president, who worked with Kevin to design the ring. The star “had done his homework,” Arabo said. “He knew exactly what he wanted.” The two collaborated over the phone and email. “When he got the ring, he called me and said it was the most beautiful ring and it was exactly how he imagined. He was really excited. He couldn’t wait to propose to her.” Kevin Jonas, 21, proposed to Deleasa, 22, surprising her at her doorstep early on Wednesday morning — flying overnight after a Jonas Brothers concert in Vancouver. Arabo talked to the happy couple Wednesday night and wished them the best. “He was very happy and thrilled. Danielle is very happy and she has the ring on right now.” No wedding date has been set yet. Right now, Kevin told PEOPLE, ““We’re just ready to celebrate with friends and family and of course all our fans.” — Sharon Cotliar

Nicole Richie on Her Next House of Harlow 1960 Collection: “It’s Completely Different”

Jeff Vespa/WireImage

Since launching her House of Harlow 1960 jewelry collection last year, Nicole Richie’s designs have turned up on many of her famous friends, including Paris Hilton, Kim Kardashian. The Indian- and African-inspired pieces were so popular that stores started selling out as soon as her pieces hit the shelves. Now, Nicole is gearing up for her second House of Harlow 1960 collection, which will extend to clothing and shoes. Despite the success of her first line, Nicole tells Singer22.com that her new collection is “going to be a totally different line.” While the first one was inspired by her personal vintage jewelry collection and her travels to flea markets around the world, Nicole says the next one “is focusing more on old English, equestrian and more sophisticated looks.” As for her shoe and clothing lines, Nicole is still in the design process. “I’ve been working really hard on designing and picking the right fabrics for my Spring 2010 line,” she says. We can’t wait to see what this fashionista has in store for us. Read more of the interview and shop Nicole’s current line at Singer22.com.

Dean McDermott is keeping his promise to buy Tori Spelling a new wedding ring every anniversary. This year, the actor took his wife to dinner at Hollywood hotspot Mr. Chow and surprised her with a Neil Lane sparkler. “I love the tradition Dean has started,” Spelling exclusively tells PEOPLE. “Every year when he slips it on my ring finger, it reminds me of the day he made me his wife and we started our amazing journey together as one.” The antique French ring consists of a round white diamond and a fancy round yellow diamond set side by side, symbolizing the expression “Toi et Moi”, or “You and Me”. “I can’t wait to one day pass on my amazing wedding band collection to my kids and their kids,” says Spelling, who is mom to daughter Stella, 11 months and son Liam, 2. Three days later, it was time to celebrate again for Mother’s Day. During brunch at the Four Seasons Hotel in Beverly Hills with her husband and children, Spelling received a Tacori gold necklace with an “L” and “S” pendant. When she returned home, Spelling found a manicurist ready to pamper her with a manicure and pedicure. “It’s been so long since I’ve felt so pampered!” she says. “It was so sweet.” Also sweet is the success of her second book, Mommywood, which is currently in its third week on the New York Times bestseller list and the premiere of the fourth season of the couple’s Oxygen show Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood, on Tuesday, May 26. – Ulrica Wihlborg and Lizz Leonard
