Drew Barrymore Does Her Makeup ... on the Subway! Yes, There's a Photo to Prove It

While we can’t quite relate to riding the subway in a couture gown à la Mariah Carey, we do confess to freshening up our makeup on the train from time to time. So we found Drew Barrymore‘s latest Instagram photo very endearing.

The new mom snapped the above pic while commuting in N.Y.C., with the caption: “Concealing on the subway! With a @flowerbeauty tester roller ball concealer that comes out January 2015 @walmart #commuterbeauty”

Barrymore launched her cosmetics company Flower Beauty in 2013, and has taken a large role in the consumer aspect of the brand, making sure she approves every single product before it hits shelves. She told PEOPLE earlier this year that she “will not go anywhere” without the line’s Skincognito stick for on-the-go touchups (looks like she really meant it!).

She also revealed that some of her early fashion and beauty choices still make her laugh. “I saw what I wore to concerts and red carpets, and I was like, ‘That s––t is crazy,’ but I’m so glad I did it. I’m such a mom now, but it makes me happy to know I had those moments in life. One thing I do love from the ’90s is the brown-red lipsticks. I never did the frosted lips, because it never looked good on me. As crazy as I was, those Wet’n’Wild colors, I knew not to do that.”

That stuff is her own line from Walmart. Just a plug. Also, the NYC subways are nasty. So this in general is just gross.

I’m so amazed at how people bash celebrities for being celebrities…if you dislike them that much, stop watching, reading or even bother knowing or commenting about them. Celebrities are who they are because we bother to take the time to know them, watch their movies or tv shows or give them the attention they put out there…IT IS THEIR JOB!. They are selling themselves and their product to us…if you don’t like them or what they do…shut your door and don’t answer it. But stop griping about them or complaining about what they do, what they don’t do or should do and how much money they have or should be giving to you.

You’re all…angry at this? THIS?! They have pills. Take two. There are more important things to be mad about. Whats wrong with advertising her makeup? It’s a business. You advertise. Drew is great and has had prufessional makeup put on her whole life. I trust her to know what decent makeup is, so I’m gonna give these products a try. Why not?
