Kate Hudson: I'm Not Going to Judge Someone for Getting Butt Implants

Kate Hudson has one of the sunniest representations in Hollywood — and now she’s trying to make that positive attitude catch on around her, even in famously fickle Hollywood.

“The negativity is just so vast,” she says in the July issue of InStyle. “Will everybody stop being so damned judgmental? If someone wants to go get butt implants, then sure, go get butt implants. The real question is, How do they treat the person next to them? Are they a-holes or are they awesome?”

She deals with the stress of a constant swarm of photographers with a little mental exercise (“I just look at the paparazzi and mentally cut their heads off!”) but there is one area on which she’s not willing to overlook the negativity, and that’s the role of women in film. “Do women still have a more difficult time in the industry? In terms of what they get paid and getting movies made, that’s just a factual yes. Nobody can debate it.”

“My mom [Goldie Hawn] was a trailblazer,” Hudson continues. “She was one of the first women after Katharine Hepburn to produce her own films. She had this extremely fascinating public image, but behind the scenes there was a real, persevering strength — wanting to get things done, fighting for what she believed in, and being successful with it.”

For more from Hudson, check out InStyle.com or pick up the new issue on stands this week. And tell us: Do you agree with her “more positivity” policy? Do you love her cover?

Why can’t people just accept the bodies they were born with instead of implanting, botoxing, face lifting, and whatever other surgical procedures are out there. My sister had her eyes done twice and they were so tight that they looked stretched. A facelift? So you get your facelifted and then what do you do about your aging hands that have lost their youthful fat? Fat injections? It’s a never ending fight and then we all end up in the same place. There is a place for plastic surgery, but for the superficial why can’t people just be happy with what they were given?

I really love her. And her point is proven on this comment section. What’s the point of saying anything negative about what’s she says in this interview? The old adage, “if you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing” has gone out the window in today’s social media environment. She’s a lovely spirit with only nice things to say.

Love Her!

I agree do not judge others. I have to admit I am sometimes flummoxed as to her “celebrity”. No memorable recent movies just a bunch of photos of her at airports.

Kate Hudson forgot to mention Marilyn Monroe for being a trailblazer. She started her own film company and made two films, Bus Stop and the Prince and the showgirl.

“I just look at the paparazzi and mentally cut their heads off!” Nice Kate. Honey, when you made the choice to become a ‘movie star’, part of that career choice involves the paparazzi!! That they want to take your picture is actually a GOOD thing. When they stop, you need to start worrying. Quit bellyaching about something you KNEW would be part of your life in films. Either stop putting your face and body on the cover of magazines, or shut up! Ya can’t have it both ways sweetheart!!!!
