Kat Dennings Cuts Bangs

Should we be on high alert for celeb bangs in the coming days? First Jessica Chastain debuted some Bardot-inspired bangs, and now Kat Dennings has shared a pic of her new curly crop — and as the saying goes, hair changes come in threes.

The 2 Broke Girls star posted the photo of her cut on Instagram with the irreverent caption “Banged by @mararoszak 💖” and her signature close-lipped half-smile. The star, who frequently wears her curls blown out, embraced her natural texture for the photo, in which it appeared that Roszak had lopped off a good chunk of length and added short, piecey layers in addition to giving her client new fringe.

Curly bangs are a risky proposition (just ask the nearest curly-haired girl) but Dennings is fully embracing (and rocking) that ’80s glam-rock vibe with her new cut. And we bet they’ll look equally fabulous blown smooth and swept to the side. Now we just need to wait for that update — as well as for the next star to announce her new banged do.

Do you like this look on Kat?

Love it! I would kill to have hair like that. So pretty

Reminds me of Flashdance…not in a good way. Still trying to forget all the awful hair of the 80s!!

LOVE IT!!!! She looks hot!!! So tired of always seeing the same hair on everyone, why must we all have long sleek hair with NO bangs this is not how we were all born. She looks fabulous and I hope it stays!!!

‘Banged by @mararoszak’
This exactly something I would expect from Kat Dennings. She just comes across like a foul mouthed b*tch with a bad attitude.

Liz on

@KellyGreen exactly! This 80s throwback hair
makes her even less attractive. No thank you!

She could be bald and still be hot! That body!!

Bad life decision.

@Dee… She is far from that. She is nothing but nice and sweet and the characters she plays are a script but thank goodness she isn’t the 1950’s idea of what you think a woman should be. Judgmental people should go away. And don’t say it’s just your opinion. You placed condemnation on your comment.

I like it, just think she looks older now

Love the curls!

Karen on

It’s so 80’s look!

Lala on

Uhhh no. Way too 80’s, and makes her look older.

Yikes on

Just no. Go away 80’s! Did she complete the look with leg warmers and a leotard?

Looks like an 80’s hairband lead singer. Could be male or female. No likey.

Tara on

She looks like Peg Bundy in the new pic.

Love her, hate the hair … hope she decides to grow it back out before the next season of 2 Broke Girls.

Pam on

Horrible! She was so pretty before, but those bangs make her look outdated.

For those saying she looks like the 80’s….ummm…ever see Twiggy and her pixie cut in the 60’s? How about that “bob” cut that’s so popular….they aren’t exactly new ideas! Love her and her look!

Like the hair, needs a tan, what is with the deep red lipstick?! Sorry, lose the lipstick for something more natural, deep red doesn’t do it.

Emmy on

Like it but makes her look older

It’s edgy and she could wear any style but I like the other look better.
