Shia LaBeouf Shaves His Beard: Do You Like His Clean Cut Look?

05/21/2014 at 12:44 PM ET

Shia LaBeouf has always kept his facial hair patterns interesting (not to mention his red carpet appearances). But now it looks like the actor is cleaning up his look (does this mean no more red carpet bags on the head?). He just shaved his patchy, straggly beard.

LaBeouf returned to his clean-shaven look, which gives us flashbacks to his Transformers days and makes us wonder if his fresh face marks a new chapter for the star whose had a bizarre year in the public eye. (You may recall his chipped tooth, bizarre Tweets, quitting acting, staging art exhibitions featuring himself crying, etc.) And while his grooming practices seem to be changing, his style is staying exactly the same.

As seen in the photo above, LaBeouf is wearing the same exact T-shirt. A graphic tee, sweatpants and sneakers seem to be the actor’s usual street wear of choice. We’d love to see him in some jeans, a bomber jacket and some chukka boots, but one thing at a time.

What do you think of the actor’s beard-less look? Do you miss the scruff? Share your thoughts below.

Much better.

I’d enjoy him greatly either way. I don’t discriminate his scragglyness.
