It’s apparently Noteworthy Fake Hair Week in Hollywood, and everybody who’s anybody is celebrating. We’ve had Nina Dobrev’s blonder, fuller mane, Blake Lively’s truly outrageous braid, Jennifer Lawrence’s luxurious beard — and now Naomi Watts and Rihanna are joining the party with their most recent locks looks.

First up is Naomi Watts, who normally sports a shoulder-grazing cut, but switched things up for the Calvin Klein Women in Film party, where she glammed up a simple Calvin Klein Collection frock with a major Bulgari necklace and a flowing side pony, courtesy of the magic of Hollywood. To help the extensions blend, her stylist wrapped a section around the base of the pony and twisted the top of the do for a perfectly coiffed, glam and girlie look.

PHOTOS: Barely-there vs. bold makeup — which way do these stars look best?

On the total opposite end of the spectrum, Rihanna went for “as wild as possible” at the L.A. Clippers game, wearing a pixie wig in cotton candy pink. She played up the “cartoon superhero” vibe with perfectly stenciled brows, a glossy pout and a silver choker. We love that the wig was perfectly cut to highlight her features, which takes the look from over-the-top to sassy and sexy. But of course, Rihanna already has an advanced degree in pulling off out-there hairdos, so this one was no sweat.

What do you think of the stars’ new looks? Do you ever experiment with wigs or extensions for fun?
