Kate Hudson has a lot on her plate right now. She’s modeling and designing for Ann Taylor and her own athletic line, Fabletics. She just launched a collection of sunglasses with Chrome Hearts. She’s got two kids, Ryder, 10, and Bingham, 2, whom she’s raising all over the globe. If she didn’t have time to plan a wedding, well, we can’t say we’d be surprised. But Hudson reveals that her nuptials to Matthew Bellamy are imminent — and you can start getting the rice ready.

“Sooner rather than later!” she confirms in the latest issue of The Editorialist, for which she was interviewed about the new sunglasses line. She collaborated with longtime friend Laurie Stark on 11 pairs of shades, retailing for $850 each, which carry names like “Eye So Sassy” and are inspired by a few names you know.

“I wanted to create a sunglass that drew inspirations from iconic women like Sophia Loren, Brigitte Bardot and my mom,” she says, and adds of collaborating with Stark, “We always make time for our friendship … the projects [are] an expression of the femininity that we, as girlfriends, celebrate in one another.”

We got an sneak peek at the photos and interview, but if you want even more from Hudson, check out the Editorialist’s pre-fall issue tomorrow morning. Then tell us: What do you think of Hudson’s new endeavor? Will you check it out? And seriously, when are we going to see her wedding dress?

Katie Hudson looks EXACTLY like the young girl in TEN DAYS. She a demigod or something? Looking good.
Big congrats to her and her mate. Hope this one can last for at least 50 years. Don’t fail him, Katie. He’s watching.
In hoc signo vinces.

$850.00 for a pair of sunglasses? I take two when it hits in “Outlet store”.

She’s had plenty of time to get married.

Wow, so much hate on here. Don’t care about her sunglasses, I can’t or won’t buy them. I’m going to give a totally shallow statement now – I think she’s the most gorgeous natural beauty besides Cate Blanchett I’ve seen in a while.

Meh, whatever. She’s not the marriage type. Maybe if she followed her mother’s lead she might be a little more successful with her relationships.

Kate Hudson is a has-been. She’s been with so many men and stayed with none. What happened to A-Rod? She grabbed after Cameron Diaz was finished with him??? Then wanted to be the “BIG STAR” at all the ball games. He dumped her.

Congrats–their kid is 2 and they’re not married yet. Tell me–if this was the kid next door–who had a child and wasn’t married and was finally marrying the child’s father–would you be “so happy for them?” Or is just movie stars people are “so happy for” who get pregnant but not married?

$850 isn’t unusual for designer sunglasses. No one’s making you buy them, there are plenty of cheap options on the market. Or skip sunglasses altogether and give your $20 to charity, if you’re going to practice what you preach.

Who in the heck can afford $850 sunglasses?

How does Matt Bellamy feel about this big step they are both taking? She is getting a real musical artist. And she can act any old time–like with her performance in “Skeleton Key.”
