Bee Shaffer: On Met Gala Attendance Interfering With Her Studies, Growing Up as Anna Wintour's Daughter and More
One of the most consistently well-dressed women at any given Met Gala is Bee Shaffer. And she should be — after all, her mom is Vogue editor (and now the bearer of an eponymous wing at the Metropolitan Museum of Art) Anna Wintour, which means Shaffer has access to every fabulous designer under the sun. Shaffer didn’t disappoint at Monday night’s Met Gala, wearing an elegant custom Alexander McQueen gown to the shindig.
But after her night as Cinderella, Shaffer, 26, must return to her day job as a segment producer on Late Night with Seth Meyers. Curious how she got her start in entertainment? Wondering about how she juggled having major tests the day after the Met Gala? (Hint: She used her tablemates as test prep). How does Wintour dole out constructive criticism? And is Shaffer even that interested in fashion? All of those questions will be answered in the below Breakfast with Bevan video, in which Shaffer gets grilled by Teen Vogue style features editor Andrew Bevan. Check out the exclusive first look, below (and see much more from Bevan here) and tell us what you think in the comments!
