Kim Kardashian's Wedding Dress Predictions: We've Got a Few Ideas in Mind (Of Course!)

05/06/2014 at 09:00 AM ET

Sure, Kim Kardashian may have given us the ultimate hint regarding her wedding dress by walking the Met Gala carpet in a custom Lanvin design (she’s pals with Alber Elbaz and also wore a design from the Paris label for her wedding-inspired Vogue cover). But since nothing has been confirmed yet, we thought we’d share a few bridal gown predictions, just to pass the time before her May 24 nuptials. After all, what’s more fun than Kim Kardashian white dress paper dolls?

First up, this mermaid Naeem Khan design from the designer’s spring 2015 collection, which looks like the perfect Kim silhouette. The strapless embroidered bodice would show off her killer curves, and thanks to the flared tulle bottom the dress still has a bridal feel.

Our next suggestion: Something blue. Kardashian’s already gone the white route, so something like this strapless Monique Lhuillier design, featuring a full skirt with oversize flowers, might be a great, unexpected way to mix things up. Lhuillier’s latest Spring 2015 collection — dubbed “My Eternal Daydream” — was inspired by the works of painter John Singer Sargent. And we all know how much Kanye West likes art. Just sayin’.

Back to Naeem Khan for a moment — yes, we already picked the mermaid silhouette, but then we saw this sleek geometric-print sequin design (third above) and now we’re totally torn, because it looks so Kim. So we’re tossing this in the ring as a viable option as well. (Or maybe the perfect gown for her reception wardrobe change?)

And lastly, we’re still holding on to hope that Kim will return to her pal Riccardo Tisci for a custom Givenchy creation. She loves to recreate his designs (remember this cutout number?), so it’s still a possibility. Our pick? Something from the archives, like this Haute Couture number from the 2010 show. We can totally picture Kim in an embellished bodice and full veil, but we’d probably customize the look with a fuller skirt.

What do you think Kim will wear on the big day? Which look is your favorite? Share your thoughts below!

These are stick models…put Kim K in one of these dresses it’s going to look like a 12 inch sausage stuffed into a 1 inch casing.

It’s her third wedding and she has a child…probably shouldn’t wear white- or have another over the top wedding. I’d respect her more if it was a simple elegant ceremony.

Um, whoever wrote this article clearly fell and bumped their head because Kim does not have the body to wear any of these dresses. Kim would need to lose 30 lbs before she could wear these kinds of dresses, sorry.

Wow, peoplemag your just going to drive her into out faces! She isn’t newsworthy of any more articles. You have a time line, and what she’s doing, and come on. Enough! There isn’t anything worthy about a 3rd marriage!

I agree with the “stuffed sausage” comment.
She is way too big for any of the above dresses, she should go to a tent maker for her bridal dress.

The only dress I can see her wearing is possibly the blue one. NO WHITE!!!! Been there, done that, Kim. Although, I do have to say, the 3rd dress from the left is gorgeous!!!! Just not on a has been like Kim.

she pulls everything off all the time, F A B

Wait! None of these dresses has a slit in it, so that Kim can show off her vajayjay or butt to the world!

You people are insane. Kim should stay far, far away from Givenchy. Riccardo’s designs do her no favors, and she always ends up looking like a boiling hot mess. The flower dress has too much fabric and would make her look huge. Kim needs to wear body skimming dresses. They flatter her the most.

That third dress on her body type would be awful.
