Kim Kardashian Shares Vogue Cover Throwback Photo with a Smiling Anna Wintour (and North!)

We’re hoping Kim Kardashian and Kanye West make an appearance on the Metropolitan Museum Costume Institute Gala red carpet Monday, and the reality star’s latest throwback photo might be a clue that they will. Kardashian shared a throwback snap of a meeting she had with Vogue editor-in-chief Anna Wintour (who also serves as the Met Gala chair — in fact, the museum is renaming the Costume Institute for her!), capturing the exact moment she found out about landing the now-famous photoshoot with her fiancé in the magazine’s April issue.
“#TBT when Anna met North! Oh and told us about our Vogue shoot! #BestDayEver #Vogue #NorthOnlyPayingAttentionToHerDaddyTakingThePic,” Kim captioned the photo of the trio enjoying a meal. And it looks like North’s cuteness even got to the usually stoic Wintour, who appears to be laughing in the photo.
Kim has been busy shopping and meeting with designers in Paris on the hunt for the perfect wedding dress, but thanks to her extensive Vogue spread, the bride-to-be has already tried on some of the most dramatic, head-turning white gowns on the market, including the strapless Lanvin design she wore for the cover.
“I felt like the real-life Carrie Bradshaw,” she said of the experience. She also added that she was proud of the cultural statement their cover made. “Kanye’s the first rapper, I’m the first reality star, we’re the first interracial couple.”
But before we see her wedding dress, we’ve got to see her Met Gala dress. However, we doubt anything will erase last year’s floral Givenchy creation from our minds. Do you think Kimye will join Wintour at the Met Ball? What will she wear? Share your thoughts below!
