Royal Tour Style Recap: This Might Be Kate's Chicest Two-Outfit Day Ever!

The Royal Tour may be winding down, but Duchess Catherine still has a few new ensembles left in her suitcase. On Thursday, Kate proved she had a green thumb and a penchant for wearing the hue — one of Australia’s national colors — at a tree planting in the capital city of Canberra.
Kate’s emerald Catherine Walker coat dress was the second Walker design she has worn on the Royal Tour. (She also wore a red greatcoat for her arrival in Wellington, New Zealand on April 7.) Walker was one of the late Princess Diana’s favorite designers.
On Thursday night, Kate wore a cocktail dress by American designer Lela Rose when she and William made their first, and only, evening appearance at a reception at Canberra’s Government House. The white frock, from Rose’s Spring 2012 collection, featured a guipure lace peplum and sleeves. The design bears a striking resemblance to the sketch of a dress Rose created for a story on Kate’s maternity style that appeared in Women’s Wear Daily last May.
The Duchess has one more outfit to go. On Friday, the royal duo will make their final appearance at a ceremony in honor of Australia’s national Anzac Day before boarding their flight back to London.
