Tina Fey and Jourdan Dunn Both Landed Big New Beauty Gigs
Get ready for some seriously lovely (and seriously funny) ads to come your way in the next few months. Garnier and Maybelline both announced major new hires to front upcoming ad campaigns, and we are really psyched about both of them. Check out the first images and all the scoop below!
You’re already used to seeing Tina Fey in full glam mode as the face of Garnier Nutrisse hair color (a job she’s had since 2011), but she just landed another ambassador gig for the line’s Ultra-Lift skincare line. Starting this week, fans will see her bringing her unique brand of beauty pitching to anti-aging products. “Garnier embraces the inherent self-confidence and beauty” of their spokeswoman, the brand said in a statement; added president David Greenberg, “Tina’s personality, beauty and approachability resonate with our consumer and we are thrilled to keep her in the Garnier family.”
Also nabbing a major beauty contract is model Jourdan Dunn, one of our favorite runway fixtures and now the new face of Maybelline New York. Her ads are also debuting this month — and she adds this gig to her long list of modeling assignments and her cooking show, Well Dunn With Jourdan Dunn. “It is an honor to be a spokesperson for such an iconic brand,” said Dunn in a statement. “I am proud to say that I am a Maybelline girl and hopefully I can make people feel the same way I did when I saw the advertisements growing up. The brand imagery is always beautiful and positive. To now be a part of that is a dream come true!”
