Kim Kardashian Channels Audrey Hepburn in Bangs and Beatnik Black

This might be the only time that Kim Kardashian would take you calling her “Funny Face” as a compliment. The reality star filmed an energy-drink ad in Miami channeling Audrey Hepburn’s character in the iconic 1956 film, from the piecey gamine bangs to the black turtleneck and cropped cigarette pants and Audrey’s signature bow-topped flats.

The simple Audrey-inspired look was a total 180° from her most recent Paris outfits (including two high-necked, long-sleeved, heavily embellished gowns for running errands) — besides being sleek and understated in her style, the sweet ponytail was a fun, girlie change for the normally super-glam star.

At first glance, Kim and Audrey might not have much in common, but the two stars do have one major connection: Givenchy. Hepburn was Hubert de Givenchy’s muse — the designer created some of her most iconic looks, from Funny Face to Sabrina to her famous black dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. And Kim is a muse for current-day Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, who has lavishly complimented her, calling her “the new Marilyn Monroe” and said she was “the most beautiful pregnant woman I have dressed in my career” after last year’s Met Gala.

What do you think of these comparisons? Would you have compared Kim to Audrey? How’s she pulling off the look?

What were you thinking? Kim is a tramp and could never be the lady Audrey Hepburn was. No matter how hard she tries I don’t believe Kim will ever be respected. She, her mother and some of her sisters just seem to hop in the bed with whoever is around at the time. I have no respect for most of them and just hope the younger girls don’t follow in their steps.

Just dreadful!

Well the fact that they would compare her to Aubrey in a soon to be big commercial lets us know how ubber famous kim really is. Hate her or not she turned her tape into an empire that has lasted 8 years unlike paris nhilton or other “tapers”

I had to click on this to say there is no way Kim Kardashian could remotely be like Audrey Hepburn. Even though, sometimes she does have the Funny Face.

This non-talent ‘twit’ cannot or never will
hold a candle to the beautiful and gracious
Audrey Hepburn! What a terrible comparison
to make of Miss Hepburn of someone like a
Kartrashian!

NOTHING about that cow even comes close to Audrey Hepburn.

Will this family never stop trying to gain the adoration and adulation of the masses. They are exhaustingly annoying. You know when you have a photo book and you’re showing it to someone and you say “this is me at such-&-such last year”, this is me at such-&-such for New Year’s” or whatever. Well, Kim says “this is me 5 minutes ago”, “this is me this morning”, “this is me before I went to bed”. And so on. Ugh!

That is laughable! She is the opposite of everything Audrey Hepburn embodied. She couldn’t channel her with a satellite dish.

How did the internet not explode when you compared Kim Asstrashian to the wonderful Audrey Hepburn? Go home, People…you’re drunk.
