Kim Kardashian Channels Audrey Hepburn in Bangs and Beatnik Black

This might be the only time that Kim Kardashian would take you calling her “Funny Face” as a compliment. The reality star filmed an energy-drink ad in Miami channeling Audrey Hepburn’s character in the iconic 1956 film, from the piecey gamine bangs to the black turtleneck and cropped cigarette pants and Audrey’s signature bow-topped flats.

The simple Audrey-inspired look was a total 180° from her most recent Paris outfits (including two high-necked, long-sleeved, heavily embellished gowns for running errands) — besides being sleek and understated in her style, the sweet ponytail was a fun, girlie change for the normally super-glam star.

At first glance, Kim and Audrey might not have much in common, but the two stars do have one major connection: Givenchy. Hepburn was Hubert de Givenchy’s muse — the designer created some of her most iconic looks, from Funny Face to Sabrina to her famous black dress in Breakfast at Tiffany’s. And Kim is a muse for current-day Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, who has lavishly complimented her, calling her “the new Marilyn Monroe” and said she was “the most beautiful pregnant woman I have dressed in my career” after last year’s Met Gala.

What do you think of these comparisons? Would you have compared Kim to Audrey? How’s she pulling off the look?

What a disgrace and insult to the beautiful Miss Hepburn.
God why can’t Kim just go away – no one cares about her hair style clothes she’s wearing or who she is breeding with!

Audrey’s poop had more class than KK ever will.
It doesn’t matter the amount of money you have, it can’t buy you class. It can just help you fake it a bit.

Oh, Lord. This is NOT the epitome of grace at all. She doesn’t have the body to wear that outfit. I don’t either, but at least “I” know it!

First… I had to check to see if I was on EOnline with this ridiculous post about this girl!
Second… Hepburn just rolled in her grave 5 times.
Sad that we’ve come to the point that NO MATTER what someone does (fill in your own blanks with this one), they are still celebrated, and, for not really contributing to anything but their own selfish narcissistic lives.

Audrey has the figure of a svelte high fashion model, not to mention tons of class. Kim is a fat cow with a bottom as wide as Texas – not real high fashion material. An insult to Audrey’s memory. She and husband try too hard.

How could you possibly use those two names in the same sentence?! KK’s not fit to wipe her boots!

Audrey Hepburn is rolling over in her grave…

Audrey was graceful, she studied ballet. Kim has the grace of a dancing hippo.

Jill on

Do not ever put those two in the same sentence. Kim Kardashian is only famous because she made a sex tape, while Audrey had talent, style and grace.

That talentless over fed gross hog is nothing at all like Hepburn. Please – black clothing and a haircut do not make a Hepburn.
