Ha, I used to wear these shoes as a little girl in Italy. They used to cost about $ 15, all kids would wear those shoes because it was OK to destroy them since they were so cheap. And now they’re a “celebrity” trend…

Ever heard of Keds? I’m sure these are great, but saying ballet flats or running sneakers are the only flats options for walking around all day is not true.

Love these shoes! So comfortable – I have them in almost every color. Definitely affordable!

Eh…I’ll stick with my Chucks or Sperrys.

In Italy we wear Superga since forever, so when they became so popular and styilish some of us were quite surprised.
But I tell one big flaw: if you wear them, most of all without socks, your feet will stink so much!!!

I loved these shoes too, my friend who is from Italy always wears them. The thing is, for 65 bucks, they get holes in them almost within months. It is a huge waste of money. Just warning people!

I am from Europe and no one here is into these shoes AT ALL. Where are you people from People Mag doing your style research?!

Um, does it matter who wears these or what country does or does not wear them? I bought these because I think they’re cute and comfortable and will buy them again. As long as I like what I’m wearing trends don’t matter.

Re; all the coolest, “Italian, French, Spanish, British girls” wore these shoes. This is recycled from last year’s “favorite” summer shoe–just another commercial for this brand that you can buy HERE at the top through Joyous…Just another commercial from People to get you to buy through their preferred vendor of Joyous–which works a lot of the time because everything they show is super hyped, and especially the “anti-aging” they use on a 19 year-old’s face…vs the age group they are really targeting…but I digress…

I own a pair, and they are o.k.–it all depends on what you are looking for in a shoe and these are like a ramped up pair of Vans or Keds. They are a 1950’s cute-type shoe with a taller sole than a Vans or Keds, but pretty much a same-type shoe. They are cute, but expensive at $65.

You can buy them at Nordstrom, and I got mine through a flash sale at Hautelook for half. All you have to do is google them to find a place online to find them outside of a Nordstrom. And obviously, get them on sale if you can because at least for me, $65 is not cheap or “reasonable.”

Um, the no blisters thing is BS, I’ve had a pair for 3 years and I get blisters every time I attempt them. Way more into my almost-identical Vans.
