Jessica Simpson has been very open about her weight loss journey. And the mom of two is also very proud of her progress. Her most recent triumph? Hitting her goal number on the scale and feeling great in a classic white T-Shirt.

Simpson posted the above selfie on Instagram, along with the caption, “..AND a white T-shirt!!#goalreached thx @weightwatchers.” She also slipped into a clingy white dress for her latest Weight Watchers commercial sharing in the spot, “I have a new found determination that I’m really proud of. I can honestly say I’ve never been happier.”

The designer revealed back in January that one of her resolutions was to have confidence in a classic tee. “I’m just trying to feel good in a pair of jeans and T-shirt. I can’t wait to be able to feel just comfortable in my skin and know that I’m back to the person I’ve been before.” (We’d say she can totally check this off her list!)

Simpson’s upcoming nuptials to fiancé Eric Johnson is also motivating her to stay on the slim down track.”Knowing that I have the wedding coming up is an incentive to stay on Weight Watchers, count my points and stay in the gym. I mean, when you see my dress, you’ll know.”

What do you think of Simpson’s weight loss? Are you impressed with her attitude? Share your thoughts below.

Good for her, but it’s really disappointing that so much pressure is put on women to lose immediately after giving birth. Articles about pregnancy are almost exclusively about weight. Women are not machines, they are human, so let’s give them a break.

I don’t think Jessica wanted the attention about her weight. It was the journalist that try to sell us, the readers/fans, the information on the celebs. They ‘make’ the stories! And they are the ones that also keep it alive. Maybe she wouldn’t have pushed so hard IF they hadn’t been pushing her ‘weight’ down our throats!

Glad to see a WW commercial featuring a songstress that isn’t WAILLLLLLIIIING her praises about losing the weight

Y’all know who I’m referring to? lol

She suddenly seems very ok with people talking about her weight. When she was overweight, talking about her weight was off-limits, no one could mention it. Now that she’s lost weight, we’re not only supposed to be talking about it all the time, but praising her for her weight. There’s a word for that, and it rhymes with mypocrite.

This commercial is weird – the way she talks and moves her hands, just very uncomfortable to look at.

I’m not a big Jessica Simpson fan but she looks great. It seems female stars are under such extreme pressure to lose their baby weight 2 days after giving birth! People sure does love reporting on her weight loss…seems they have a story on her weight loss daily. I guess they will move on to someone else now that she is at goal. Its sad when thats the only press recognition she gets. :0
