Shia LaBeouf's Questionable High-Waisted Sweats Will Give You a Laugh (Or Make You Scratch Your Head)

If you hadn’t noticed, Shia LaBeouf loves to make a statement. (This is the same guy who recently hit the red carpet with a bag covering his face and a chipped front tooth.) So for today’s edition of “What’s Going on in LaBeouf’s Brain,” we’re turning our attention to his sweatpants, which he’s been wearing, Steve Urkel-style, all around L.A. this week.

We’re really intrigued by how LaBeouf is styling his new star-off-duty look. Not only does he wear the comfy pants up around this navel, but he also likes to pull up the bottoms of the sweats so they hit around his shin, a choice we presume he made to show off those boots. So far, he’s been a fan of Uggs and lace-up work boots, but we wouldn’t be surprised if he brought out the combats soon. As for a top, he’s been showcasing a selection of graphic tees to really drive that “statement” thing home.

Maybe LaBeouf has once again decided to “retire from all public life” and these pants are part of said retirement. It could be that he’s just exercising his right to wear comfortable bottoms outside of the gym and his couch. Or perhaps he’s plagiarizing this look from your grandpa? Regardless, we want to know: What do you think of his look? No big deal or early signs of a style meltdown?

I really feel sorry for this guy, something is seriously going wrong with him. I’m more concerned with his mental state at this point rather than his fashion sense. Hope he bounces back soon.

Well, he is retired… Let him wear what he wants.

Who cares? He’s comfortable. I’m a new stay at home and I basically never get out of my sweats/pajamas, sometimes I even wear my Husband’s sweats, lol!

Praying for this young man. It sounds like he’s been having a hard time lately.

“People”: Leave him be.

Funny that all of a sudden you guys are talking about bullying – when there are nothing but rude comments when regarding Kim kardashian ex.?! Whats the difference I May ask?

Media. A prime example of what is WRONG with Hollywood. Paparazzi don’t know when to stop and leave well enough alone. The almighty dollar is more important to people than a person’s peace. They would rather drive someone crazy stalking them for the pictures that will bring in the dough than to think about the effects it is having on the person being stalked. You know, they are human and need space too, right? Media, People, TMZ, all of these celebrity gossip websites are what is wrong with Hollywood. There need to be laws put in place to quit this nonsense. TRULY!
