Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge continues to make the most out of her amazing closet, wearing a red Alexander McQueen dress she first wore for the Queen’s Jubilee festivities to a Buckingham Palace reception for British film stars Monday.

The long-sleeved, cardinal red number, which was first seen on Kim Kardashian, was last seen on Kate at a Diamond Jubilee event in honor of the Queen’s 60th anniversary on the throne. In June 2012, Kate wore it with a perfectly-matched fascinator, a small brooch, a tartan scarf and nude heels (right) for a breezy royal barge ride on the Thames.

For the film reception, Kate wore her hair down and added uncharacteristically bold earrings (golden chandeliers), then added her signature shimmering hose and black accessories for a polished (and more wintry) look. We love Kate’s everyday style, though we must admit, we’re excited to see her bust out some royal jewels in the near future.

Which way do you like the dress best? How should she style it next? Weigh in below!

She is just so classy! She always looks for beautiful.

I would have sworn she had that dress in pink.

She wears clothes beautifully. I love that she wears outfits more than once, giving them an update with a few accessories. Very classy and practical.

Love that dress, but she wore it in June 2012, not June 2013. She was 8 months pregnant in June 2013!!

I love this dress, I think the color looks great on her. I think this re-wear ensemble more than the one she wore previously. I think the black clutch and heels, compliment the red so nicely, as well as those earrings. The only thing I was wondering was why she didn’t wear a statement necklace with it? It would’ve finished the outfit off so nicely.

What about the floods? People are growing tired of this manipulative vain and vapid woman. There is absolutely nothing redeeming about her.

I loved this dress on her at the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. I’m so glad to see it again. I have always loved how she has no problem repeating outfits, especially her most expensive ones, and simply changing up the accessories to create a whole new look. Such a classy woman!

When Diana, Princess of Wales wore the black strapless Emmanuel gown, she was criticized because “royal lades” (and she wasn’t even an HRH yet) only wear black for mourning and the neckline was too low; however, Catherine has worn black gowns several times AND has worn plunging necklines and lets not forget the short hemlines that she doesn’t seem to consider when bending down or on windy tarmacs. What gives?

Jemma, did you miss the fact that William and Harry were both at the scene and working to help everyone they could? Honestly, everyone ISN’T of the opinion Catherine is manipulative and vapid…that’s what many of us thought of Diana, but some of you didn’t, so we had some respect for that fact. I only recently even said out loud that I thought Diana was anything but the People’s Princess. Why do you feel it necessary to insult a woman whose husband loves her, she loves him and together they are doing all they can to prepare for the time they will be the King and Queen, or whatever it is decided she will be. She is a lovely mother and gracious by all the interviews I’ve seen or read, so bugger off!
