We haven’t done the math, but it’s starting to feel like there are more stars with pixie cuts than without these days. Jennifer and Julianne recently joined the ranks of the close-cropped celebs (Kristin! Jennifer! Pamela!) and now they can add another star to the club: Jaimie Alexander.

The Thor: The Dark World actress (and girlfriend of Twilight star Peter Facinelli) was last on our style radar for wearing this semi-dangerous, super-sheer dress. And now she’s back with a brand new, Hathaway-esque crop. She also follows the trend set by the younger, short-haired starlets, for leaving the front pieces long enough to sweep to the side or to tease up for some height, giving the look more versatility than a traditional pixie cut.

We’re not sure what’s in Hollywood stylists’ water these days, but now we’re on the edge of our seats wondering who’s going to debut a super-short do next. Any requests? Are you into this trend?
