What does the guy who has everything give the girl who has everything? There are only so many gold-plated limousines, crystal-studded private jets and yachts renamed in one’s honor you can give before it starts to feel old. This year, Jay Z went back to basics, selecting a simple, mixed-metal bracelet with a sentimental message to give to his bride, Beyoncé.

Of course, he had a little help in the shopping department. Some guys turn to the Internet for gifting assistance; Jay Z relies on Beyoncé’s stylist Ty Hunter, who picked up Tacori’s new $2,390 Promise Bracelet.

“[Hunter] got the bracelet and took it with him to give to Jay Z,” a source tells PEOPLE — adding that Jay Z couldn’t keep it under wraps until Friday. “He said Jay was waiting for Valentine’s Day to gift her along with a few other presents, but … that Beyoncé is always too eager and you can’t hold any secret from her, so he decided to give it to her earlier.”

The bracelet’s silver and gold intertwined motif is designed to represent the couple uniting, and it can only be unlocked with a special key, which will make it that much harder to misplace the next time she’s on the HMS Beyoncé.

Do you like this gift? What are you hoping for for Valentine’s Day? Lt us know below!

0_0…*waiting for the point of this story* Then again, its probably another gratuitous BeyJay story just to draw people in.

Here’s a thought for the guy that has everything and a girl that has everything. Why not host a Valentines dinner for homeless couples at a rec center complete with a chocolate dessert and a flower for each of the ladies. Then, end it with an impromptu concert and renewal of their vows. Now, that would have been a sexy story.

PEOPLE, the headline for this news story (“Beyonce, don’t look!”) is completely misleading, since later in the article, you reveal that Beyonce already received the gift. Shady journalism. *SMH*

Who care’s is right ! Sick of hearing about these over paid Hollywood people spending so much money on little things, when people are out of work, trying to feed their families, the cost of that bracelet would pay for 2 mos. of my mtg.payment and some food. I lost my job, and I get annoyed hearing about these people, Kardashian’s can be added to list also. What’s wrong with these people? Out of touch with the real world.

IF HE WANTED TO GO BACK TO THE BASICS,HE SHOULD HAVE REMEMBERED WHEN THEY WERE BOTH POOR AND WENT TO THE DOLLAR BARGAN AND BOUGHT HER A BOX OF RUSSELL STOVERS CANDY AND A NICE 1:00 CARD….THIS WOULD BRING BOTH OF THEM BACK TO WHAT LIFE WAS ALL ABOUT…..GOD BLESS THEM BOTH TO HOW THEY MADE IT TO NOW…!!!!!

JayZ should have purchased a four-year college tuition for the both of them. If these two can spend time furthering their education, then they can stay out of the spotlight for a very long time.
