Is Beyoncé the Only Person Who Could Pull Off Wet Hair at the Grammys?

If you’re like us, you’re still recovering from Beyoncé and Jay Z’s super-sexy Grammy Awards opening performance. (Seriously, we’re surprised the stage didn’t spontaneously combust from all of that heat.) And now that we’ve calmed down, we know we’ll be debating her wet hair look over the next week.

The singer looked fierce in a black sheer bodysuit (which showed off the majorly hard work she’s putting in at the gym). She also sported a bedazzled bra top and some revealing fishnet tights as she sang “Drunk in Love” with her husband. But we couldn’t stop staring at her short, heavily gelled tresses. And she totally owned the hard-to-pull-off hair trend. (#WetHairDontCare?)

Pantene celebrity stylist Kim Kimble gave Beyoncé her look by working the brand’s “Curly No Crunch Curls Whip” into the singer’s wet hair and brushed it through with a paddle brush, then scrunched for definition. The line’s “Keratin Repair KeraGloss Oil Mist” gave it even more shine for the performance.

Is it something we’ll be trying out anytime soon? Undecided. But tell us: Are you a fan of the look? Will you give it a shot? Or is this for Beyoncé only? Share your thoughts below!

Yay on

So glad I watched this on YouTube so I missed the show. Downton Abbey is so much better.
Beyounce looks like a stripper who was rode hard and put away wet. Great role model for woman like she projects. She barely speaks English with all her Ebonics. First time I’ve heard the song. Something about a kitchen, a surfboard and grinding on wood. Sure to be a classic and covered by others for years to come.
Now I need to go shower and brush my teeth after watching that. Gag.

Please take Kimye with you and go anywhere, but here.

Back when on

Where is a true entertainer like Tina Turner when you need her? At least the 1/2 time Super Bowl show is worth watching this year.

Liza on

Why is People so obsessed with Beyonce?! I get that she’s a successful artist but geez!

Charli on

She didn’t pull it off, it’s just the media have a deal with her and the Kardashians.

BJ, get it? on

Two words: SO OVERRATED!

Tina on

Umm, no, she didn’t pull it off.
