By now you may have gotten the memo that the entire PEOPLE StyleWatch team absolutely swooned for Lupita Nyong’o’s dazzling Ralph Lauren Collection gown at Sunday’s Golden Globes. But we would be remiss if we didn’t point out that the 12 Years a Slave star (and Golden Globe nominee) isn’t just killing it at the big events — she’s incredibly consistent as well. Case in point: Her entire weekend leading up to the awards was spent in one fabulous dress after another, and for that we feel she deserves her own post (and possibly her own red carpet).

Of course, we can’t say that we were totally surprised. After all, Nyong’o and her stylist Micaela Erlanger have been knocking it out of the park ever since the star’s promotional tour for 12 Years a Slave began. But it would be a shame to let such gorgeous dresses go unnoticed in the wake of all the Globes commotion, so we thought we’d call them out here.

From left, Nyong’o looked striking in a stark white Altuzarra dress with a deep-V neckline, paired with an unexpected pair of lavender Bruno Magli pumps and a pink pout (another reason we love her: She’s not afraid to try bold makeup). Then she eschewed her preferred simple, snug sheaths for a bold fit-and-flare Mary Katrantzou dress and equally eye-catching accessories in coordinating shades of lapis and cerulean. Finally, she went for unfussy glamour in a Carolina Herrera navy-and-gold graphic floral number with contrasting indigo heels.

Her looks are chic without being staid (love the bright shoes and bold colors) and she seems to be so relaxed about the whole thing. We’re psyched to see what else this year brings for Nyong’o, stylewise — after all, we’re not even halfway into January yet.
