People's Choice Awards Style Recap: Kat Dennings and Beth Behrs Are Quick (and Chic) Change Artists
It’s time to stop playing Beth Behrs’s “Baby Got Back” performance on repeat, and take a look back at what she and co-host Kat Dennings wore for the festivities. The 2 Broke Girls stars made four (!) wardrobe changes during the broadcast (not quite a Carrie Underwood levels, but still impressive).
They made their red carpet debut in full-length gowns — Dennings wore a rose-print David Meister Signature design and Jennifer Behr headband, while Behrs chose a simple black-and-white Giulietta gown and Deco-inspired jewelry. As for their beauty looks, Dennings played up the drama with a bold lip (the color Radiant Raisin from Avon’s Ultra Color Absolute lipstick collection) and statement brows, courtesy of Avon Global Celebrity Makeup Artist Lauren Andersen. Behrs went for a coral lip and soft smoky eye by Mark celebrity makeup artist Jamie Greenberg. The two ended the night in coordinating dresses, an off-the-shoulder draped Black Halo Eve gown on Dennings and a white lace Naeem Khan mini on Behrs, as seen in the photo above.
As for the time in between, Dennings kicked things off in an electric blue peplum dress by Oliver Tolentino Couture, matching the lights on the PCA stage. Behrs showed off her mile-long stems (which had the perfect glow thanks to St. Tropez’s Bronzing Mousse and Gold Skin Illuminator) in a crystal-embellished fit-and-flare Kate Spade New York mini, as seen in the first photo below. And then there were their two most dramatic looks: Dennings’s sleek Ted Baker jumpsuit with a cleavage-showcasing keyhole neckline and Behrs’s gold hand-beaded Dilek Hanif mini, in which she made her singing debut.
There was definitely one accessory that stole the show: Dennings’s embellished finger-bandage, the result of an accident she had last weekend. Which looks were your favorite? What did you think of Dennings and Behrs as hosts? Should CBS have them back next year? Share your thoughts below!
